Alternatively use Holobux to purchase the current Brawl Pass if you see a pair is one of the rewards.

Note: The current Brawl Pass (as of June 7th) has a pair as a reward so if you have the Brawl Pass there's a quick way to earn this one this Season.

Achievement popping on this is really off. All the accumulative ones seems to be really sporadic. Popping late mostly. Glad it worked in the end!
