Offline/Without the co-op online function

1. First off, connect a second controller

(that account also will get the achievement to that account also)

Why in the world does he get a negative vote for this? It's blatantly obvious for most people to earn this, but his solution absolutely describes how to earn it if you're unsure on what to do. I, for one, gave him a positive vote, and whoever did the negative one, you should be ashamed of yourself. You have no business being on a social community site.

Noticed a lot of this crap on here, negative voting for no good reason and not have the balls to say why, sucks but a good solution will always get more +'s . Good solution. Thanks.

Did it earlier today. Only the person playing as Lara got the achievement, the person playing as Totec didn't.

When I first saw this (ie, two days ago) I thought "Oh great, good luck finding a game NOW...and I'll feel compelled to play with the guy too, rather than get in, get the achievement, quit like a dick"

Then I realised it should work for local.
Then proceeded to mop up the rest of the co-op achievements by myself.

I don't get it, my friends were playing this and both got the achievement right away but I still haven't gotten it for some reason. I've joined and hosted public and private matches and even completed whole levels on each to make sure as well as playing as both characters and it still didn't pop.

@KKxLUVSxYOU Have you tried "Offline" like the solution indicates?

Like others, I've played online co-op and not gotten the achievement -- (I was Lara, my friend hosted as Totec and he got the achievement). I might have to try the offline solution if future online co-op sessions don't trigger it for me.

I was doing it local with a second controller and it popped for the second controller but not for my proper account. I did various combinations of first player/second player and who was Lara and the other guy, and in the end gave up, only to find out it had popped at some point - even if it didn't show on screen.

I found that if it doesn't pop for one of the accounts to try to reload the game, just had the issue that my main account didn't get it but the old one did and when I reloaded the game it popped for my main account

Did it today with my own and my nephew's account. As soon as the intro started (after selecting characters), the achievement popped up for both accounts. Thanks.

This achievement didn’t unlock for me on XB1 last night (9/9/21) playing on Live for hours with a friend.

This morning, I tried it on my 360 with two local profiles (and controllers) and it popped immediately after loading the first tomb—I didn’t even have to play.

It`s a shame, many freinds of mine have stopped with adding solutions because of those weak retards that only give negative feedback just for greifing.

@Empire of Maury
He does say that both accounts get the achievement.

I wouldn't stop posting solutions just because of some negative vote(s). It's obvious a solution like this is appreciated by all the positive votes anyway. Why does it matter some people voted negatively? It's not like it's degrading the solution.

This might be one of the easiest Silvers ever. You need to have two controllers. Choose Multiplayer from the Menu. Choose a side for each player controller (like a local match for a fighting game) and start the game. Go through all the cinematics, and the trophy will unlock.

This trophy can be achieved simply by starting up a Local/Online Co-Op game and it unlocks automatically. You don't have to complete the level/game. For Local Co-Op you'll need 2 controllers.
