Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light

Easiest way to get this achievement is in co-op. In the same room for the Overachiever achievement, there is a big pit. have the Totec player jump down it and as Lara, fire the rope (RB) aiming at Totec, it will save his life, achievement earned. Both players get the achievement.

Hi, not sure whether it was a glitch, but I got this last night by accident, I did the following:

Totec threw a spear at a wall, then he jumped onto it. As he did that I had Lara fire the rope at him (RB by default). The spear shattered, Totec fell back and he achieve popped with no need for a death fall.

We were in the first bonus room on the Spider Tomb level (level 3 I think), the one with the flamethrower in - not sure if this makes any difference though.

Achievement video

You must do this in cooperative mode. Move to the first area that you can die from a fall. Have Lara stand close to the edge, and leap over to your pending death with Totec......

I got this achievement alone using 2 controllers. Press grapple hook with your big toe, at the same time as you jump the other character with your hands. I did it in 1st try on first level.

7 of the achievements can be done on the first level alone!

As I'm not sure if this was a positive glitch for me, if the following approach doesn't work for you, please let me know in the comments and I'll adjust / delete this as appropriate.

Similar to some of the other solutions, I discovered you can do this on the very first level without a death fall of any kind.

1) Start the game in co-op mode with player one as Lara.
- You can do this either with a friend or simply with a second controller ^{[I chose the latter method]}.
2) On the first level, keep playing until you eventually reach a wall too high to jump
- The game directs you to make Totec raise his shield above his head as a platform () so that Lara can reach the ledge.**
3) Once on said ledge, you're then directed as Lara to aim the grapple at Totec and for him to climb up.
- At this point, you should have Lara facing towards the 'drop' so ready your finger/chosen appendage on the .
4) As Totec, simply run and then jump back off the ledge he just climbed; immediately, as Lara, fire the grapple.
5) Hopefully, the achievement will then 'pop' and you're all set.


**At this point, you can also get the "Jump Jump" achievement by first getting Lara onto Totec's shield, then Totec jumping followed immediately by Lara jumping to the ledge.
