How to unlock the Back in Time achievement in LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 - Definitive Guide

The Time-Turner ability is available at the end of Year 3 and can be used by Hermione. When in Year 4 you will be in the Gryffindor dorm room, here you will see a Grand-father clock, walk up to it and press cn_B to activate the Time-Turner ability. There are more clocks in the game (I assume just throughout Hogwarts) but that one is available during story.

Other Grand-father clocks locations are:
The Bell Tower
Quiditch Stadium
Owl Tower
Garden by Hagrids shack/hut

For some reason it bugged out on me and Hermoine was never able to use time turner, even after beating the game. Luckily, Dumbledore can also use it as well, so that saved me from a lot of pain.

Nope. I gave it a +1 a few days ago when I read it. I beat Voldemort and got the two story related achievements.

I did it in the story the second I saw it and if anything it made the level easier.

Look at the ratio and then look at the ratio for completing all levels. This is higher which is why I ignored the one in the Gryffindor dorm to see if it was main storyline, which it is not.

Contrary to what you might think this does not apply to the story related use of the Time-Turner, but when you find or build a grandfather clock in the Hogwarts hub area. Switch to Hermione and press cn_O and you should go back in time, unlocking the trophy in the process.

You can find one in Hagrid's garden, the clock tower, and the owlery.

You can't actually use this until you have learned the time turner in story 4 though, when I walked in hagrids garden before learning it, it glitched my game and I couldn't leave the garden.

The Time-Turner ability becomes available after the completion of year 3. You use the Time-Turner in front of one of the four Grandfather clocks found at Hogwarts. The locations for this are:

  • Gryffindor Dorm Bedroom
  • Quidditch Field Entrance
  • Hagrid's Garden
  • Owlery

They are all particularly easy to spot in these areas. To use it take control of Hermione and press whilst standing in front of one. You will get the trophy soon after. This can not be missed while going for 100% as some Collectables are only available in the past versions of these rooms.

According to the plot, you won’t get it, you can go to Hogwarts to see the owls
