LEGO Rock Band

I would highly suggest using "We Will Rock You" on expert bass. This is by far one of the simplest songs you will find. I guarantee even someone who can only play on medium, maybe even easy, can get it this way.

The song pattern on expert bass is simple.
Green, Green, Orange, pause and repeat.

Eventually it will switch to:
Green, Green, Blue + Orange, pause and repeat.

Once it switches to the orange and blue phrase use your overdrive. It will turn to gold stars before the song even finishes.

Sparky is right (We will rock you on expert bass), but to reiterate, you cannot use overdrive/star power till you hit the double orange/blue; the first time i tried i skipped over this part and used star power normally but even with a perfect you only get five stars. You must save your overdrive! till the first double cord and if you do, you should get gold star about 3 or 4 lines from the end.

And just a normal bit of advice, use the shifting technique instead of the reaching technique. Since its a straight forward pattern, its easier to just shift your whole hand to the orange rather than trying to reach for it. Btw if you have short fingers, you pretty much have to use this technique.

And lastly the shift from just orange to orange blue happens at a rather obvious point, you can tell by the music that its going to shift, the held whiny guitar note is the signal that that part is coming.

But overall props to sparkyMP on this one, my level is i can maybe do a couple of songs on hard, but i got it with what i would call relative ease.

There are three songs which you should try. The first of which is 'We Will Rock You'; a song on the disc, which repeats the same basic pattern throughout the song.

The other two songs you should try are both Free downloads. They are 'Charlene (I'm Right Behind You)' by Stephen and The Colberts, and 'Still Alive' by GLaDOS.

I got this and the Flawless Singing achievement at the same time singing "Dawn Patrol" by Megadeth on Expert Vocals as it contains only talkie parts (no pitch requirement).

Just be sure NOT to activate your overdrive early. Wait until the part that goes "Pretending not to notice..." to activate overdrive (scream into the microphone).

You should end up with (or close to) 90,000 points and 5 gold stars!

"Song 2" by Blur has a very simple pattern on expert bass and is the same length as "We Will Rock You" by Queen, and it also has short breaks in between chorus' so you can get your hands ready for the next section. Not too hard at all, and found it to be more fun than Queen :)

Alternatively you can do this on Guitar on Im gone im going by Lesley Roy but this is a downloaded song which i think you get by purchasing Rock Band 2 and get a code with it.

Also aswell as this achievement on this song, i also got "Brian MAY be jealous" and "Flawless Fretwork" achievements.
