This is part of the normal game play / story in the Bytanic Dreamscape. Just beat the girl in a game of shuffleboard to move to the next mission.
If you are trying for the THREE BULLS (20) or LARRY SCORES (60) achivements, don't progress to the next mission until you have those two achievements. You can't go back and play the shuffleboard game! If you beat her score but don't have the achievements, quickly restart the mission. Otherwise the autosave feature will not allow you to go back.
