Early on in the game, you'll be introduced to Aloha Links, enabling Kasuga to befriend folks all over Hawaii with a greeting emote by pressing . People you can befriend have a smily face icon and friendship gauge over their heads, and most you'll encounter on the streets while exploring. Some, like dogs/cats or shop/restaurant owners, will require you interact with them directly, feeding them food or purchasing their goods to form a bond. Others, you'll have to rescue from thugs, which means engaging in battle to win their friendship. Keep greeting and carrying our favours for people you're able to befriend, and you'll easily establish 50 Aloha Links in no time whatsoever.
