How to unlock the Hit For The Cycle achievement in Little League World Series Baseball 2010 - Definitive Guide

All you have to do is hit a single, double, triple and a home run as the description says. The hardest thing is the triple in my opinion. Here's what I did. Have a runner on first (or first and second) and hit one in the gap. If you think you might have a chance to score the runner from first, keep on trucking with your hitter and if the runner is safe at home then they will award you with a triple. If he is thrown out, more than likely you will be awarded a double.

Note: This achievement unlocks during the game, so if you think you got a triple and didn't get the achievement then they awarded you a double instead. Or you just don't have the other requirements.

Does it count against you if you use a card? Because I got to third base numerous times without anyone getting out and still have not got it yet.

To be honest, it's been quite a while since I've played this but if your getting to third using a card then I'd say that you can't use one.

Or maybe you're not getting it all in one game. I've never gotten a triple, and doubles are also hard. Maybe once every 2 games. Homeruns are a lot easier.

I will try to use the cards that make fielders drop the ball. I don't know if that will result in an error or an extra base hit, but it's worth a try. I have never seen a triple in this game. It is so hard since the field seems to be pretty small.

Try getting a runner on first and then going for a triple. As they will try to get the runner out at home and you will safely reach third. That is pretty much the only advice I can give.

If they drop the ball it will more than likely be called an error and you won't even get a single out of it.

Not an easy achievement due to the fact that hitting a triple is so difficult.
For the triple, you must hit an opposite field line drive that lands just fair and rolls into the corner. Preferably done with a right-handed hitter, as the right-field corner is the furthest away from third base.
For singles and doubles, hitting a ball into an outfield gap pretty much guarantees that you will get this.
The home-run? No problem. Use the Level 3 Talent on your star player. Any fair hit will result in a monster home-run.
The achievement unlocks the moment you have successfuly had each type of hit.

This one is tricky. In most Little League World Series tournament games you are able to get a single, double, and a home run as a team. But getting a triple (meaning to get to 3rd base off a hit) can be tricky. If you have the Dizzy card then use it before the first pitch by hitting  and selecting the Dizzy card.

Now for the tricky bit: use the  and aim to land the ball down the right field line, giving you enough time to get to third base by holding down  to advance to third base.
