There is a nice glitch in the game that has not been fixed by the patch that will get you Shut Out, No Hitter, and Perfect Game. To make things easier start a new tournament with any team, and in the first game let the CPU team throw a perfect game against you. Meaning you did not score a run, get a walk, or get a hit.
Now you have to be careful and not let the CPU accidentally walk you. I suggest that as soon as the pitcher gets ready to release the pitch, you hit for a quick swing that will result in a strike.
Make sure you let the CPU score sometime in the sixth inning game so the CPU wins. When the game is over, the three trophies will appear. (Credit: Reys813fan).
If you want to earn Perfect Game on your own then I suggest when pitching to the CPU, you throw two 2-seam fastball pitches down and in. Then go up and in with a 4-seam fastball. The CPU will strike out 80% of the time as long as you have a pitcher with good pitching attributes. Always aim for a nice pitch (meaning you release when it hits the blue in the pitch meter), and if a player on the CPU uses their talents to get a glowing yellow or blue bat, then hit to adjust your fielders to play deep, but still throw the same sequence of pitches.
If you have cards available, then use them. The ground play ball cards help against a star player, as if the player gets a hit it will not be a homerun. Also if you get over 100 talent points then hit and you will get increased speed on all pitches. (Credit: babygeez11)
