How to unlock the Avid Collector achievement in LittleBigPlanet 2 - Definitive Guide

The same deal as with the main game. I'd recommend playing through the whole thing with a partner online, or offline if you have 2 move controllers. There are some sections that require 2 people and there are many others that are just easier with two since you have pick up other players with the Brain crane and launch them at bubbles. Just by having a partner and being thorough you should get the majority of the bubbles. There are videos below for the main story levels and the toughest of the side levels.

You can get these on your own with 1 move controller and 2 normal controllers (DS3/Sixaxis) by switching the move controller back and forth between the other two to control both sack people and allow you to get all the prize bubbles - Thanks Bendtner92

It takes two people to collect all the balls. One must have a move, and the other can do without it since it serves as a pick-up item for a mind grab. Plus, some mini-games have two types of passage, each with balls.

The add-on has two story levels with space for 2 players. These places can be passed with one move and two joysticks. Enter the second player with the second joystick, place him where necessary, then hold START on the move for 3 seconds and the control change menu will appear. Select the second player with the T button on the move, exit the menu and move the first player to a new position. This way you can go through both locations for 2 players.

ATTENTION! If you use a navigator with the movie (instead of a joystick), then holding the START button will not bring up the control change menu! You need to disable the navigator and connect a regular joystick instead.

Hints and tips for mini-games (since they also require collecting balls):

Fast food:
To avoid problems collecting the required number of points, I recommend using a sticker. A timer will appear and the path will become more difficult, but this way you can score points for all the balls. You can pre-pass without losing the ball, in this case do not use the sticker.

Claude's Field Mouse Tail:
By analogy with the previous mini-game: sticker and go. The second ball will appear (both must reach the goal), and you will have enough time (unless your timer is below ~44k). I recommend that you first go through with one ball and without falling (we don’t put a sticker on one ball).

Surfer:
It is likely that you will have to replay several times. Try to collect as much as possible at a time.

Pandemonium jam:
If you are a fan of this puzzle (something like 3 in a row), then it shouldn’t be difficult at all. For all the balls you need 200k (I scored 229k and only then did the time run out).

Lost Sackbots:
It's simple: either we save everyone or no one. I’ll explain why: if at least one sackbot does not survive at the level, and you brought the rest to the exit, then you will only be given one ball. If you see that one sackbot has died, kill the rest and you will need to replay this level (and not the entire mini-game, which is what you need). The levels themselves shouldn't pose any particular problems.

Defense Mechanism:
Most of this mini-game will have to be completed perfectly. Otherwise, you risk not getting all the balls. Approximately after the words: “there are very few left,” you will have enough points for all the balls. If difficulties arise - video .

If you suddenly have any difficulties, here is the Guide to Balls in addition to the move.
