How to unlock the Create achievement in LittleBigPlanet - Definitive Guide

One of your episodes must be liked 50 times, and you as the author must be liked 30 times.

As with the Barker trophy, you don't have to make a kick-ass level or create many levels at once, because the number of hearts and completions is counted on each level separately.

There are many different ways to obtain this trophy. Let's take a closer look:

Put the code word “H4H” in the level name, which stands for “Heart for Heart”. This is a generally accepted designation for users who, in theory, are ready to give a heart in return if you give it to them. But only in theory, but in practice it is worth knowing many subtleties. For example, if you simply give a person a heart (whether it's a heart for a level or a heart for them as an author), the person will never know it's you because hearts are anonymous. To get a heart in return, you must somehow notify the person that you have given him a heart.

Usually people write in the comments to a level like “Hi, I’m ready to exchange hearts,” but the problem is that there is no notification about comments, and even if a person has 20 levels published, then he is unlikely to check the comments of all his levels every time, and writing a comment at each author level is too long. In addition, inserting text from the buffer does not work there, and you can insert the same comment only using auto-insert, if you write a sentence “in one_word_with_underscore,” but this will immediately indicate that you are stupidly sending a message to everyone and may cause rejection among person.

In principle, this method has a certain effect. For example, I created 5 maps, four of which are purely boost levels, i.e. empty cards where as soon as you start a level you immediately end it - they are very good for the “ Share ” trophy. I numbered these cards from zero to four. When I started the game the next day, it turned out that the first boost level had received more than 50 completions and hearts. The vast majority of people either left the heart for free, or thanked me for the quick level (which is possible!), or did not know that I would not be able to find out who gave the heart. Of course, I gave hearts to those who unsubscribed in the comments and to those who were tagged as having played, but most did not receive a heart in return.

All I had to do was get 30 hearts for me as an author (of those who completed my levels, only 5 people gave me a heart as an author). In principle, if I had waited a week or two, maybe over time I would have gained the required amount, but since I did not want to wait, I decided to bring the trophy closer myself. Below I will give my own method, which I have not seen used or recommended anywhere.

I searched for new maps that had just been created because the creators were most likely online when I found their map. I immediately went to their planet, gave the author and several of his levels a heart (so that he could notice the changes), and immediately wrote him a personal message, previously copied to the clipboard. Yes, exactly a personal message, directly, and not comments. The message said that I gave him and his levels a heart, and I ask you to give me, as the author, a heart in response: “Hey. I just hearted your levels and you as author. Please, heart me back as author, too. Thanks” (note that if a person has only one level, then instead of “levels” write “level”, otherwise he will definitely understand that the message is template and this may cause rejection). Of course, in order to write a message to a person, you will need to remember his network ID and enter it in the addressee field, so perhaps your priority will be people with simpler logins.

Usually people answer almost immediately:

  • Someone will say something like, “Thank you, now I’ll add hearts to you.”
  • A certain percentage of people set a condition: that you add him as a friend, and someone may ask you to mark and/or complete all his levels - agree and unsubscribe that you have fulfilled his request. By the way, it is not necessary to complete the level completely - you can enter and exit and the passage will be counted, but remember that for the “ Share ” trophy you need to complete the user levels; Completed levels will be marked with a golden sackboy head icon.
  • Someone “can’t read” and can only give hearts to your levels, but not to you as the author.
  • Some people don’t know how to place hearts at all and don’t understand how to find you. In such a case, prepare in advance a template text explaining the process “Go to search – it's on the same line where the Community button is. Select “Search text” and input my name – Your ID. You will find my levels – press any of them, the level menu will open and on the top of it is my PSN name – press it and you will find my profile. Press the profile with square and press “Hearted author”” Someone will answer that they can’t find you, which means they entered your login incorrectly. Don't waste your time on such people. Tell them that since it doesn’t work out, they don’t have to strain their hearts, and look for new ones.
  • Someone will read your message and simply ignore it, because you have already placed hearts anyway. Although the assigned heart can be canceled (so do not quarrel with the people who assigned the heart to you at least until you get the necessary trophies), I advise you not to take revenge - it will not do you any good, you will only lose time.
  • One person answered my request with “No”. The percentage of such principled ones is negligibly low - usually even people who are not burdened with earning trophies are ready to meet. Probably because they are pleased that someone noted them. Most of the people who gave me a heart did not have the H4H mark, but they happily returned my kindness. Just before giving a person hearts, look at his profile in LBP - if he has more than 30 hearts as an author, then he is probably no longer interested in exchanging hearts.

To summarize, I would like to say that in an evening of persistently searching for new maps, marking them and their authors with hearts, and writing messages, I received 25 hearts. Like you, perhaps, I didn’t want to wait, although waiting would have been a much more strategic decision - it would have cost me much less time.

It is important to note that the number of hearts received for the author is not dynamically updated like hearts for episodes and walkthroughs. I left the game and entered again to see the updated balance of my hearts as an author. But still, when you add each new heart, you, as the author, immediately get a message saying that one new heart has been received and the current number of hearts is such and such. The only problem is that this window appears and disappears very quickly - if you walk away or are busy writing another message, you will not see this notification.

Finally, I would like to say that I worked on this trophy at the same time as the Share trophy, which requires completing 150 community episodes. When looking for new cards, I not only gave them and their creator a heart to get a response, but also passed them, because they were often very short.

I want to clarify some numbers related to the trophy. Firstly, the Russian description for the trophy states that one of the episodes should receive 10 hearts, not 50. This did not work. The English description for the trophy states that one of the episodes should receive 50 hearts, but in practice it turned out that 50 hearts are needed IN THE SUM of all created levels.

What does this give: you can, for example, create twenty episodes and give each one a heart yourself, in total there are already 20 hearts (yes, yes, hearts you set yourself also count). Ask two friends to give a heart to each of your episodes and you already have 60 hearts. Thus, the main difficulty comes down to getting 30 hearts for authorship.

Tested in practice personally and at the time of writing it will work.

Create 20 simple levels in a hurry and publish, then create a user in PSN and set hearts to 20 levels, i.e. 3 accounts = 60 hearts

The above method works. Accordingly, all that remains is to gain hearts as an author. There is a way that greatly facilitates and speeds up this process.

There is an official website for the game from Sony: https://lbp.me/

When you access it with your PSN username/password, you can find any author of levels from the game. Having entered the profile of the desired author, you just need to click the “Add to Favorites” button and a heart will be added to the author. (whoever clicked may not change the number of hearts on the screen, the button will become “Remove from Favorites” - that means the heart has been counted)

For those who put their hearts in this way, having a game is not necessary!

Checked on a profile where there is a second part, but not the first, and on a profile where there is not a single part.

This way you can ask all your PSN friends to come in and leave a heart, regardless of whether they have the game!

You can send your friends a link like this (mine for example): https://lbp.me/u/WerWolfEee

If you have no friends (no matter how sad it may sound) or few of them, there is a sure way to get alone. With this, a pc is enough.

Go to the website lbp.me

There we create a new user. To do this, click on “My profile” (exit if you log in automatically) and “Create a new account”.
Write any email you like. You can add numbers to yours, indicate your date of birth, too, as a fool, but so that you are over 18 years old.
Make a password. To make the process easier, I indicated qwertyui1.
Click on "I'm not a robot"
And to create an account.
Set a new nickname (I just assigned different numbers to mine).
In all subsequent columns (first name, last name, security question, address line 1, city (these two columns are enough in the address)) indicate abracadabra. I wrote “ytsuken” (I even put it in the buffer so that I could paste it everywhere).
Do not link the card (click "no")
And on "The End".
You will be automatically sent to the site under your new account. Here you go to the upper right corner and click on the enlarger, that is, search.
Enter your main nickname. And voila: give the author a heart (click on the nickname and “Add to Favorites”) and also rate all created levels (minimum 5).
After that, exit this account and create a new one using the same scheme.

If you start from scratch, you will have to create them 30 times, but after several attempts, you will be able to click them automatically.
