If you want to go for efficiency, wait till you've completed both the Technico and Rudo storylines and have unlocked Espectro. Then you can use Espectro to win the tournament and the Espectro the king achievement at the same time.

This is definitely the way to do it. No reason to play this game any longer than necessary.

A King of Kings tournament consists of three matches (must win all three) with the difficulty increasing from easy to hard. Make sure to pick Espectro Jr. as your player, so when you win the tournament you will unlock Espectro the king. Once again, best way to win is by count-out. Be careful as if you happen to lose, then you will have to start the tournament all over again. Trophies unlock after you win the tournament.
