How to unlock the SS Career - 500 Tackles achievement in Madden NFL 07 - Definitive Guide

For this achievement, create a Superstar and play through a career to unlock the record. 500 tackles took me about 5 years playing as a Strong Safety (SS). Other options are to play as a Cornerback, as they can easily net you this achievement... I just happened to have a lot of luck with the SS! Keep shuffling through the player options until you get to this choice, then simply sim through the career. Takes some time, but I found that it was easy to do while working, talking online, etc. Just look over, tap A, then go back to what you are doing... Very easy!

I tried just simming through it and ya i got my 500 tackles I actually had more than that and it didnt give me the achievment????

Are you sure that you are in SS mode? I'm not sure if the achievement could be glitched for some?

You have to go through the whole season to get the achievement - at least, I did. I've gotten all of the ones I have when I was loading the off-season. Hope this helps some of you that are having trouble with them.
