How to unlock the AFL Goes Online achievement in Madden NFL 10 - Definitive Guide

ACHIEVEMENT IS NOW UNOBTAINABLE DUE TO SERVERS BEING SHUT DOWN AS OF OCTOBER 1ST, 2011.


NOTE: You must have purchased the AFL Legacy Pack DLC to obtain this achievement.

Go into a quick match and select one of the AFL teams (Chiefs, Raiders, Patriots, Chargers, and so on)

IMPORTANT. YOU MUST SELECT THE AFL JERSEY! This is the only way you can get this achievement.

The opposing team does not have to wear AFL jerseys, I used the Chargers and played against a created team.

EDIT: If the opposing team quits out, you can still get this achievement, just finish the game against the CPU and This will pop at the end of the game. (Credit to W1LLYMAN)

It also doesn't matter if your opponent quits. You just have to finish the game against the CPU.

I can confirm that the achievement will pop if the opponent quits.

Note: The Chargers AFL jersey looks a lot like their current one (white helmet, dark blue top). In the 4th quarter, I was wondering if I had selected the right jersey, but I did.

They just shut down the server.

If EA is going to keep shutting down online server they should tell EA they cant make online achievements.

Hop online and select one of the AFL teams (Buffalo Bills, Denver Broncos, San Diego Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs, New York Jets, New England Patriots, Oakland Raiders, and Tennessee Titans). Select your team, then push . You're taken to the menu to select your jerseys. Push or until you get to AFL Home or AFL Away. The push to accept and begin the game.

You don't have to win, but you do have to complete the game as the trophy unlocks after the game is completed. Your opponent doesn't have to be wearing AFL jerseys either.

Play and complete any online game while wearing the AFL jerseys. Jerseys can be changed under Uniform Options in the team selection menu. The person you are playing against should probably have the jerseys too. Most people have reported that your opponent should have them. Multiple people have reported playing as the Chargers, changing all of the uniform, got them the achievement after one game.
