Madden NFL 10

For all the complaints about this one being tough to get it's actually quite easy. From the guide on x360a by daenius:

Larry Fitzgerald is the #1 Wide Receiver for the Arizona Cardinals. He wears number #11.

As always, start a game in „Play Now“, with Controller 1 selecting the Arizona Cardinals while Controller 2 can select any team he wants.

Before the first play, make sure to turn off the play clock and "Fatigue", done so by pausing the game, opening "Settings" > "Game Options" and decreasing "Fatigue" to 0 as well as turning off "Play Clock".

The way this works is the following:
Everytime you throw the ball to Larry Fitzgerald, you will have to press after you throw to get control of him. As soon as you did this, you can move Fitzgerald with the and just catch the ball.

Let Controller 1 select a pass play „By Player“ > „WR“ > „Larry Fitzgerald“. As above with Randy Moss, Fitzgerald’s routes will be highlighted in red.
I would recommend selecting a route that’s easy to run – the best would be Fitzgerald running straight ahead.

Let Controller 2 choose the play "By Formation" > "Special Teams" > "FG Block".

Now let Controller 1 press to get into the hot route menu, then press to select Larry Fitzgerald and press UP on the to let him run a "Go Route" (straight ahead).

When you're done, snap the ball pressing and lob the ball to Fitzgerald by tapping .

As soon as the ball is in the air, press again to control Fitz. You will see a marking where the ball is going to land.

Make absolutely sure you keep on running ahead and are in control of Fitzgerald while doing so, also make sure you keep holding the (this is the "Turbo").
You have to run a couple of yards while you're in control of Fitz, otherwise it doesn't count as a user catch - if you press right after you've thrown the ball with the QB you won't have a problem with this.

You don't have to press to catch the ball - Fitzgerald will automatically catch it.
All you have to do is run to the marking where the ball is going to land.

Repeat this play 10-12 times (just to be sure make it 12), then make sure that the game clock is running and just let the time run out in each quarter.
Since the play clock is turned off, you will not get penalized for this.

NOTE: This Achievement will unlock after you finish the game, don't be alarmed if it doesn't pop up immediately after you've fulfilled all the requirements.

Couple things I would add to this description is to use the offensive play "ACE TE DRAG" as this was what I used (it has Larry heading downfield). I also edited Larry's stats before the game to max out his speed, acceleration, and catching abilities, though they're so high by default I don't think it makes much of a difference.

As well, for the record, you can also turn on unlimited rewinds and if you screw up a catch, just rewind and try again.

Edit: PinataZombie in the comments mentions the following may help:

"make sure that BOTH controllers are turned to "all-pro, 5min qts"...BOTH controllers not just the one you're getting the achievement with...but the other as well"

So this is what worked for me. 100% of the time. Of course use the settings you need.
Then for the plays. Use 2 controllers. With the Cards go to:
By Player, then scroll over to WR and pick Larry Fitzgerald.
Go down 2 pages and the Y play should be PA Boot. Pick that.
Then for your defensive play pick field goal block.

Every time you hike it Larry should be wide open. Just tap B (do NOT hold for the bullet) and the tap B again to take control of Larry. Hold RT for speed and follow the route.

this is probably the most annoying of the Madden NFL 10 achievements in order to do it went to the cardinals roster via 'NFL Roster' then 'Player Management' and maxed out the stats for Larry Fitz., Kurt Warner and my entire O-line(rt, rg, c, lg. lt) then went to an opposing team (this case chargers) and completely downgraded every CB, SS and FS on the chargers team so now when you play them Larry can simple beast mode by his cb and the safety. now you need to do this since the catches need to be user catches you have to manually move larry and press Y to catch the ball so every play in pre-play hit Y then select Fitzgerald( should be B might be X depending on the play ) and put him on streak LS^ then hike the ball and when larry beasts past the cb and is free of the safety throw a lob to him and then hit B immediately to take control of Larry and manually move him to the catch location and when the ball is near hit Y to catch then i usually ran backwards so you can get more plays in the drive rinse and repeat achievement will pop at the end of the game

Pretty easy achievement.. Put 2 players on.. One cardinals, doesnt matter the 2nd team.. Pick any passing play, for defense pick PUNT BLOCK.. Catch 10 Passes with Fitzgerald with user control, "Y".. After you catch the ball just run out of bounds..You can do this achievement on 1 drive.. :D

Just got it. What I did was after setting up the play when u snap the ball with the Stealers or any team . Press 'B' to control Fitzgerald and hit 'RT' and push the left stick up to RUN and MOVE him to the big red circle on the field. I never pressed 'Y' to catch. Just have to control him AND MOVE HIM FORWARD TO THE BIG RED CIRCLE. He will catch the ball himself. Don't even move your QB back just snap the ball quick and throw.
For defense I used FG block. For Stealers I used screen pass play HB screen.Once he catches the ball and run a few yards just go out of bounds. I used every piece of advice out there and none worked expect for this one, thanks in part to daenius on .org.

Here's what I did (because I went for Frozen Tundra as well):

I took the current Green Bay roster update, and went to the Depth Chart, and put in every single back up for the Packers (They are pretty bad players). I also put in the best players for Arizona at every position. When you start the game in Play Now, make sure Green Bay is home, and you choose to put the game at the Packers Stadium (how it's listed) with the weather as Heavy Snow.

Anyway, once in the game, when picking passes, always make the hot routes for Larry Fitz either a curl or streak. Make sure you lob them, not rifle them. He will catch them every time. Also, I had 11 catches and 1 drop, and still got the achievement. I'm thinking you need to get 10 catches before you drop one. Make sure you get your first 10 without a drop, then it's smooth sailing.
