How to unlock the Why Can’t We Be Friends? achievement in Madden NFL 10 - Definitive Guide

This achievement is a piece of cake because you don't need to win, but as yawnberg said, the hard part is getting someone to play with. What I did was start a few matches with the players I found, backed out then invited them from the recent players list.
Once you get someone to join as the second player on your team, start a game then once that game is over you'll get the achievement.
(My partner quit on the 3rd Quarter and I still got the achievement when I finished the game).

The hard part is getting someone to play with you. If you can't get a friend to play, and your created session just ends up in a lot of waiting and disconnects, try appealing to players in the game lobbies. You may get laughs at the proposal of a co-op game, but the 75g will probably entice someone eventually.

EASY JUST COMPLETE A GAME IN CO-OP OVER LIVE. YOU DONT HAVE TO WIN JUST FINISH THE GAME. MAKE SURE IT IS SET TO ALL PRO DIFFICULTY AND QUARTERS ARE 5 MIN.

No, just happened to me this morning.If the other player quits, you get a message asking if you want to complete the game against the CPU.Just pick yes and finish the game, you will get your achievement

Just finish an Online Co-Op game. You don't need to win. You just have to finish it. Use this thread to find yourself a partner for the three Co-Op trophies.

Not really much to say about this Achievement.

Go to "Xbox Live" and scroll down to "Create Session". Create an "Unranked Co-Op" session and make sure you set the quarters to 5 minutes and the difficulty to "All Pro".

Do not disconnect and finish the game.
