How to unlock the Deadly Accurate achievement in Madden NFL 11 - Definitive Guide
You must complete the game to unlock this.
I tried for many games like im sure some of you did to get this achievement and it just wouldnt pop. sometimes it even glitched on me and said i had 2 attempts with 20+ completions. i finally figured out how to get this achievement.
Pick whatever team you want ( i chose the steelers as usual ). go to my madden>Rosters> player management and put up your top 3 WRs and your top 2 TEs speed, agility, acceleration, awareness, catching, spectacular catch, catch in traffic and route running to 99. then put up your QBs throwing power and then all their accuracy sliders to 99.
go into a game and set it up with unlimited rewinds and 2 minute quarters. i always play on pro just in case but some people say you can do this on rookie.
start up the game and kick or receive. If you receive bring the ball to your 5 yard line. do short passes but ALL PASSES MUST BE PAST THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE, if they aren't they dont seem to count and that is how my game kept glitching. i usually did quick crossing routes for the WRs and short out routes for the TEs. they should catch almost every ball and if they drop it just rewind but make sure the player can catch it after the rewind because you can only rewind a play once. You might even want to do some runs so you can do PA passes or it will help get your guys open because the D will focus on the run.
So what you need to do is throw 20 passes and get at least 19 out of 20 completed.
so the play that worked for me was "Gun"> "Doubles" > "Strong Flood"
Now what you do is let Frank Gore complete his route and hit him. 20 times over.
When i played he didn't drop the ball ever so good luck.
Play Now: Choose any team( I choose IND)
Qtr: 5 Min (Just to be safe)
Rewinds: Unlimited(For any dropped passes)
In-Game: If using Game flow always audible to QUICK PASS, If using classic run quick slants
Hit the open man
Keep an eye on you stats
When your stats are COMP/ATT 19/20 or better quit the game and Achievement will pop!
You Don't Have To Finish The Game
You need a minimum of 20 pass attempts. I suggest you stick to short(er) pass plays. Throwing all-out bombs will most likely end in more incompletions than you'd like. The tight end has great hands and so does the receiver Marques Colston. If you through for exactly 20 passes, you must have completed 19 of them to get this. So if you are at 18/20, you will need to complete 5 more passes with no incompletions, which would bring you to 23/25. If you are at around 15/20, you might as well start the game again.
This trophy pops at the end of the game.
To get this trophy, you have to throw at least 20 passes and at least 19 of them have to be caught. That would be a 95% completion rate. 18 completions would only be 90%. My advice is to go for 21, and then quit out. Pass to the same player 21 times and you will also receive Winning Isn’t Everything. If the criteria have been filled, you will receive the trophy after you quit.
Use the same setup as outlined for Did I Break It? and YACtastic. Throw a short and reliable pass to give your receiver the best chance possible to make the catch. You could also set up the second team to run a Field Goal Block. This will leave acres of space for you to pass into. Once you find a reliable pass you can pull off every time, recycle it till you hit the 20 passes.
Important: This one has to be done using a single receiver. So recycle the same play every time to make sure you are finding the right man.
This trophy will unlock at the end of the game. You can quit once you have met the requirements for the trophy.
Trophies that can be done at the same time:
Winning Isn’t Everything, YACtastic, Perfect Game, Defensive Dominance & Did I Break It?
