How to unlock the Perfect Game achievement in Madden NFL 11 - Definitive Guide

Since the other two solutions here don't mention it for people who do well with passing - the passer rating for your quarterback has to be 158.3 at the end of the game. Completions are a big part in attaining this as well as throwing touchdowns. The formula in attaining a perfect pass rating includes completions, touchdowns, yardage and interceptions. A perfect rating requires at least a 77.5% completion rate, at least 12.5 yards per attempt, a touchdown on at least 11.875% of attempts, and no interceptions.

Hopefully for people who are clueless as to why they have high yardage or many touchdowns and don't get this achievement understand why the other solutions posted here dont work.

NOTE: You can only use one quarterback in a game for this, it wont unlock if you use another one even if you have the 158.3 needed.

This achievement can be done in one play. All you have to do is have the ball a little behind your 20 yard line and make sure this will be the first pass you throw in the game. Now run a play in where one of your main receivers runs straight down the field tap x or b to lob a deep pass if your receiver is open he'll catch and run straight down the field for a touchdown. Your passer rating will be 158.3 with 1 completion and 1 attempt. The best team I found out to do this with is the Dallas Cowboys. Miles Austins seems to break open quite frequently.

If you can't get the pass to work on your first try make sure to have rewinds set to unlimited to give you more chances. Finally have Accel Clock on set to 25 seconds runoff to make the game end quicker.

This is how i did it, i think its the eassiest way

Turn quarter to 1 minute. 1 rewind.

Either use 2 controllers, or make the cpu settings all to zero from the start menu.
.
Change play clock to off.

Once you get the ball, only do running plays until you are close to the endzone, but at least 12.5 yards away. DO NOT MAKE ANY PASSING PLAYS. if you make any incomplete then it wont work.

Now make one throw for the touchdown. If you mess up you can use your rewind here.

Now press start then select Game Recap>Statistics Press RB (Player stats) and choose passing using RT and choose your team using LT. Your QB should have a 158.3 passer rating. If this is not the case you must restart and make sure the only pass you throw the entire game is the TD pass, and that it wasa more than 12.5 gain on the play..

Then PAT then kick.

Now just play normally until you get the ball back.

Once you get the ball back do one running play to get the clock started.

Now just wait and repeat a running play if a quearter ends, because the new quarter will stop the clock

Achievement will pop up at the end of the game.

If you cant get the touchdown with 1 minute quarters change that. I only choose 1 minute so i wouldnt have to wait after i did the TD pass.

Used Denver Broncos vs St Louis Rams....got the ball and drove down the field to about the 13 or 14 yard mark with Knowshon Moreno...used Kyle Orton and passed from there for a touchdown..right from that one play 1 had 158.3 rating...ran out the rest of the clock (had play clock turned off)

If you want this trophy, you can only use 1 (one) quarterback on the team you are playing as. Start up a quick play game on Rookie difficulty and play as the New Orleans Saints so you can use the awesome quarterback Drew Brees.

A perfect passer rating is 158.3. To obtain this silly number, you must have at least a 77.5% completion rate and at least 12.5 yards per attempt. You also will need a minimum of 1 touchdown and zero interceptions.

Will one pass play from 13 yards out for a touchdown count? Yes. If you can pull off a 13 yard touchdown on a pass play and have that as your only attempt in the game, you can pop this trophy. Make sure you strictly run the ball on every other offensive possession.

Trophy will pop at the end of the game!

As with Winning Isn’t Everything, this trophy can be done at the same time as Deadly Accurate. My advice is to go for 21 passes, and then quit out. Pass to the same player 21 times and you will also receive Winning Isn’t Everything. Once the criteria have been filled, you will receive the trophy after you quit.

Perfect Game Criteria: a 77.5% completion rate, 12.5 yards covered per attempt, a touchdown on at least 11.875% of attempts, and no interceptions.

Important: you should aim to get a touchdown every four passes. Receive a pass, run 20 yards and then wait to be tackled. Repeat two more times, and then on the fourth pass run for the Touchdown. That should mean all the necessary stats are fulfilled.

Use the same setup as outlined for Did I Break It? and YACtastic. Throw a short and reliable pass to give your receiver the best chance possible to make the catch. You could also set up the second team to run a Field Goal Block. This will leave acres of space for you to pass into. Once you find a reliable pass you can pull off every time, recycle it till you hit the 20 passes.

Important: Recycle the same play every time to make sure you know exactly what is going to happen each time.

This trophy will unlock at the end of the game.
Trophies that can be done at the same time:
Deadly Accurate, Winning Isn’t Everything, YACtastic, Defensive Dominance & Did I Break It?

Set the game to 1 minute qtrs. Complete one pass at least 15 yards with a touchdown. Then just run the ball the rest of the game.

Perfect passer rating is 158.3. Passer rating is calculated using each quarterback's completion percentage, passing yardage, touchdowns and interceptions. A perfect rating requires at least a 77.5% completion rate, at least 12.5 yards per attempt, a touchdown on at least 11.875% of attempts, and no interceptions.

Achievement unlocks at the end of the game.
