For the Thompson M1A1 you can also get in on the mission ‘GAI 353 Military Truck Theft’ in Dipton. One of the soldiers should drop one.

Die Thompson M1A1 ist in der Mission : Erledige Frankie Stones verfügbar (Beim Observatorium) Gebiet ist dennoch Little Italy. Es ist ein Hinterhalt bei dem Turm aber egal die Erste Welle Gegner hat normale Pistolen aber die Gegner weiter unten haben die besagte Waffe :) Hoffe ich konnte helfen 👌👍

This is an updated version of my guide for the Xbox 360 version of this achievement:
Solution for Armament King In Mafia II
You need to use each of these weapons to get at least one kill on an enemy (civilians may or may not count - workers down at the docks definitely do). Here is a list of what shops you can get them at (many you can also collect from fallen enemies).
(N) - Weapon is purchasable from a standard gun shop (all over the map, icon is a handgun). You can also kill the shop owner and steal the guns if you like.
(H) - Weapon is purchasable from Harry's (top left of the map in Kingston, icon is a machine gun).
(G) - Weapon is purchasable from Giuseppe's (near the middle of the map in Little Italy, icon is some lockpicks).

* The Thompson M1A1 (the one WITHOUT a drum barrel) is carried and dropped by some enemies during missions, and cops also carry them when you have a 4 star wanted level. One guaranteed location is the car jacking mission "GAI Truck" - one of the soldiers guarding the truck has the M1A1.
** Make sure the grenade itself gets the kill, not a secondary vehicle explosion.

To gain access to all weapons, you must purchase them from the Armory, Harry's and Giuseppe's. A weapon is also to be recovered from your enemies or the cops: the Thompson M1A1. To do this, pick up the rifle from the corpse of an enemy on a mission or from a policeman after being in maximum search by the police.
As soon as you've killed an enemy with a weapon, switch them to make sure you don't miss a thing.
Some weapons are common to shops.

When you get to the mission where you have to beat the Irish guys up in an alley, you beat one up then have to kill the rest. It's a good time to get your weapon kills here since you don't have to walk far from the mission start. You may need to wait til you have more money, so here's what to do before the mission:
Go to any gun shop (pistol on the map) and buy MAGNUM, 1911 SEMI, .38 REVOLVER, SHOTGUN and a M1 GARAND.
Then go to Harry's (a machine gun on the map, top left) and buy THOMPSON 1928, MP40, GREASE GUN, .38 SMG, C96 PISTOL, KAR98 RIFLE, GRENADES.
Finally go to Guiesspe's (lock pick symbol in middle of map) and buy 1911 SPECIAL, MOLOTOVS.
Make sure you get as much ammo as you can to ensure you get at least 1 kill with each weapon. The final weapon is the THOMPSON M1A1, which can be taken off a dead cop when they are at 4 stars. Save your game before and try and get one off a cop. As soon as you do, save the game and headback to the mission marker. It should also be noted that you may get the M1A1 off a gangster at a later date.
Now just do the mission, beat up the first guy then go through each of the weapons killing at least one guy with one of the weapons.
