How to unlock the Card Sharp achievement in Mafia II: Definitive Edition - Definitive Guide

There are total of 189 Wanted Posters in the Definitive Edition. 30 more as in the original game. This solution is a mix from my old guide years ago and a new video with the 30 new locations. Mafia 2 DE has still no free roam mode, so you must also collect the Wanted Posters during a chapter, I recommend chapter 7+. The Wanted Posters are saved immediately after pick up. In the main menu you have a collectibles menu with ingame numbers for each Wanted Poster.

I have created an own Map with the Ingamenumbers. The red dots are the original 159 Wanted Posters and the blue ones are the 30 new DE Wanted Posters.

Brilliant guide. Just an FYI - #166 is the only one where you HAVE to be in 1951. I by default did these form Chapter 3, and that area is cordoned off in 1945. You need to be in 1951 (so Chapter 7 onwards).

29 more to go. I usually find collectibles tedious but I dunno, it just feels relaxing driving around getting them in this game.

I just got #166 in Chapter 3. If you run in the corner up against the wall where the poster is, at just the right angle you can get a prompt to grab it.

Wierdest thing i have ever encountered. I had completed all Wanted Posters and no achievement. I Tried everything i could, nothing. A week later when i picked up the first PLAYBOY in Joes Adventure the achievement unlocked.

Confirming you can get #166 before chapter 7 - I got it in chapter 2 before going to Joe's apartment as Reaper describes, as well as all of the others except 26, 27, 28, 34, and 63. Those 5 require you to be in a vehicle to smash through a security gate, and you can't drive a car this early in the game (and yes, I did a LOT of running around on foot!).

I collected all 189 but my achievement hasn’t popped yet. I tried doing what JB did but did not have the same luck. I’m hoping a hard reset is what’s needed but it’s kind of a bummer. Only needed this & 1,000 miles then I would’ve been done. Ugh!

*Update* Turns out JB’s method worked for me as well. Upon picking up my second Playboy from “Joe’s Adventures” the achievement unlocked for me. My advice if you’re reading this before doing the DLC. Save the DLC for last and grab them wanted posters first. Not sure what I would’ve done if I had collected the DLC Playboys already!

I done this on chapter 11 when you return home and your sisters on your porch. Access to your cars and no cutscene when you load up.

Perfect checkpoint I thought!

Could quit put anytime when I had enough of collecting posters and resume anytime till I was done!

Ooops , finished the game on hard last night and then realized there was no free roam 😂😂 only have 3 wanted posters as I was keeping them for free roam. Feck it anyways

Getting all those wanted notices (189 of them) will take time and sometimes patience. Reload the chapter of your choice and take a leisurely stroll through the streets of Empire Bay to collect all these collectibles. Considering the time and effort this trophy will require, take the opportunity to drive the same vehicle in order to gain a few extra kilometers for One Careful Owner trophy_bronze.png. There is a total of 189 Wanted posters to be found around the entire city. Note that since there is no free roam, the posters must be found within the chapters, with some only available in later chapters.

I don’t know about video guides, but text maps here are not very good collected all posters except 167,175. This map helped, it is based on the poster numbers!

The proposed video guide is actually not very good.
Since the collection is divided into 2 parts. First 159 posters from the original. And then the rest, which were added to the definitive edition.

Therefore, you will have to go around the city as if twice. Well, even the first 159 pieces could have been better indicated. I think there should be a better video guide, but I’ve almost put it together

To quickly save the progress made, it is enough to die. You will be loaded to the last checkpoint and the number of collected posters will be saved.

You don't have to die to save your progress. After each collection, saving occurs. After collecting a certain poster, you can exit the mission to the main menu in the collection section - this poster will already be displayed there as collected.

The only thing missing in the video is poster 114, it is located not far from 117, on the map it is the lower right corner

I collected all the posters in Chapter 5 where there is no police, it’s just calmer, keep in mind that one poster (near the hotel, where in the story we arrive at the garage) is located in the hotel renovation area and you won’t be able to take it in Chapter 5. as an option, take him in the very first (or last) in another chapter, and all the rest in the 5th
