How to unlock the Faster than Light achievement in Mafia II: Definitive Edition - Definitive Guide

You can get this in the mission early on where you have to destroy 4 cars in the docks. When you destroy a car you add to the multiplier, so 4 cars plus 5 guys spawn and I shot my own car for the 10x. This is my first guide so I hope it helps.

Also, park you car in the middle of the 4 mission cars. Shot the first 2 cars & 2 guys... on your way to the other 2 cars blow up your car to keep the multiplier going. After that 5 guys come running your way. I ended up with a multiplier of 12 toast

The mission players are referring to is "Lost In Transit"

I gave a Thumbs up - but I'd clarify that this achievement is VERY sensitive. Accuracy sensitive (you must hit directly on the gas tank of all 4 cars) and time sensitive (after a few seconds of inactivity, you lose the multiplier). Of the 4 cars, I started with the 2 in the BACK by the dock. That way you can start directly on the gas tanks and make your way towards the other 2 cars as the 5 spawned guys approach you.

This achievement must be unlocked during a mission, not in free roam. You'll need to kill enemies and/or blow up cars to increase your score multiplier up to 10x to unlock this achievement. This can be done in multiple missions, but since you'll need to grind out car explosions for Firebug (10G) anyway, the method used in that achievement solution will essentially guarantee you unlock this achievement in the process.
