You can click on (almost) every dot of the map to see how to get the wanted poster in video.

It's very useful since some posters are really well hidden.

There are total of 159 Wanted Posters. The Wanted Posters are distributed throughout the World but Mafia 2 has no Free Roam Mode, so you must also collect the Posters during a Chapter, which chapter does not matter. The Posters are saved immediately after pick up. In the Mainmenu you have a Collectiblesmenu and here you see, any Wanted Poster has a Number.

In the Video you see in the lower left Corner the Counter and which Wanted Poster is currently collected. The clickable links will open in a new Window and the video will start at the time or at the Item. I have a lot of spoilers used here to provide a better overview, simply fold the spoiler from your currently needed. The videos are available for the first time in Youtube 4k HD.

I create a own Map with the Ingamenumbers.

I interrupt the timeline 5 times so that you can also use it really effectively.

Ok, so I had a ton of trouble finding the last few that I was missing, because the numbers that correspond to most of the guides out there are wrong (Achievement hunter is the one I used, which uses the wrong numbers).

One of the other solutions used this link/guide, which I found very helpful, and got me to 151 out of 159:

This guide lets you click on each neighbourhood and breaks it down very well. I figured out a system and went neighbourhood by neighbourhood. Of course, there were some that I had thought I already found during my playthrough and I moved on. At the end, you will undoubtedly find a few that you missed.

Go to the main screen and click on extras/collectibles and then wanted posters and make a note of the ones you are missing.

*Imprtant note: these wanted poster numbers from the actual game will not correspond to the first guide that I linked you to above, but don't close the first guide, you may need to work off of both, as the solution videos on youtube are all made to correspond with the first guide (achievement hunter) which is incorrect*

Now that you have only a small number of the wanted posters you haven't located yet, open this link up:



Take your list of unlocated wanted posters and find their location on the Wikicheats map. Now you will know where they are exactly.

Having said that... If you get there and just can not find them, you will have no luck searching youtube looking for wanted poster #__ if you are using the actual number of the poster from the game.

For example, if you are missing #63 (the one on the house), you will find it on WikiCheats, then look at the same location on AchievementHunter and find that they use #62. So you will search for a solution to wanted map #62, even though you are actually looking for #63 - confusing... but there is no other way that I could find.

Since you know where the poster should be, because you found it's location on the WikiCheats map, this is where you may have to refer back to the first guide and look at the location you know the wanted poster should be in order to find the number used by the youtube solutions and achievment hunter.

I found a quick google search with: "Where is wanted poster __" always brought up the right video.

Anyway... I hope this helps people. I was pulling my hair out.

I found a way to get WANTED-poster#63 way easier than shown in the achievement-hunter video.

1. Choose any car (not TOO slow though,best choose any regular car...)
2. Get on highway to the closest place to the roof that holds the poster
3. Slowly and carefully knock over the railing at the right. It'll fall down. If you fall yourself or get stuck on the ledge, just steal another car from the highway and if necessary, knock the stuck car down,too.
4. Now, for the jump.
It's only important that your gap in the railing is the closest you can get to the little roof, and that you don't hit the other railings doing your jump (That would spin you around and you'd most likely fall).

!!! Only back up about 10-20 meters from the gap !!!

Start accelerating close to the middleconcrete-street-separation (as far to the left as possible) and drive the curve to the gap and through it. As you're not fast, the curve is no problem, still you got enough speed to make it to the roof (make sure you jump where the gap is least wide).
5. The moment you land on the roof, hit the brake hard and immediately try to get out of the car.

OK, conclusion:

-knock down railing
-back up a few meters only
-do a slow but rather precise jump
-BRAKE!!!

that guide is great only that it has words where that worked for the playboy collectibles i think it makes it a little more tricky with these wanted posters, you can find these at any point in the game while you are free roaming, yes this will take several hours (assuming around 5-6 hours) but what i found to be much more useful for myself was a map that i found that pinpoints the locations you can save it on your computer and since its kind of a big jpg you can zoom in and out, i think that the previous link posted would be a great supplement to this map since the pinpoints arent entirely accurate, hope this helps

ALL THE ABOVE GUIDES ARE NUMBERED INCORRECTLY AND INCOMPLETE
You'll get very frustrated when you go to your collectibles menu;
find poster #6 missing, then look at the guide for #6, go to the location and find it's not there.

This happens because the above guides USE THE WRONG NUMBERS.
Every guide on IGN or Wiki use their own numbers - and THEY'RE ALL WRONG.

1. Go your collectibles and find the #'s you need.

2. Then go to this guide:

3. There's a list on the page. The first number is the number for the two above maps; and the second BOLD number is the wanted poster #

4. Scroll down & find your wanted poster BOLD # - see what number is to the left of it.

5. Find that number on one of the two above maps.
I believe they're broken up into 1-80 & 81-159

You can use the above guides to get 139 then use this one to get the rest.

Mafia 2 Wanted Poster Locations.

I followed the map that IGN made to find the Wanted posters. However, sometimes I found it a bit difficult to follow as the posters were out of order in the menu when following their map, and the map was blurry making it hard to read.

I decided to do this to try and help some people. All the Wanted Posters in this video are edited in chronological order meaning that they are in the order they appear in the Wanted Poster list.

You can grab these posters in most of the chapters. I personally got these during chapter 10 by not going to the objective after you leave your house.
