Which car is recommended?

I used that car you steal right at the beginning of the game. Stored it in my garage after I got it, and pulled it out just for this achievement.

Thanks for the post. Just got it. When you stop at each gas station bring the map up in the game and set the next waypoint according to his guide. The first car you stole is fast enough as it is tuned.

Soo I got this achievement just now with still two left to get. I think you need to at least get four and cords over the bridge and get one of those to get it to pop.

Sorry, just started this game so can tell maybe what name of the Chapter this mission is on? I’m going to try doing it in “Load Chapters” menu where you just load the mission up and not have to play through whole story? But have no clue what chapter this achievement is even related to?

It's easy enough if you use the speed limiter function whenever there's a police car on your minimap. I had the car going 80 but hit the speed limiter as soon as a blue rectangle appeared, which immediately drops the car's speed to whatever the legal limit on that stretch of road is. Easily got it on the first try with no police trouble whatsoever.

Just a thought, but there are only the 6 gas stations you need to go to. I was worrying that 6 was the mission requirement, but would get more for doing them all, and was worried about time. Also, the police don't seem to care much. I ran red lights in front of them, used the wrong side, took down signs, and they did nothing. Just put your limiter on when you are within a couple cars of them, and take off again when out of reach.

You don't need to have a particularly fast car to get this achievement done.... I actually messed up getting the fast car and was panicked... I just got the achievement just now by using a random car I hijacked from a poor looking guy... You just need to cut corners and be fairly accurate and everything will go your way... I even had a police car chasing me and didn't a risk collision with another car to get away... I will admit I did no life this game for fun a few years back but it is possible to do this with a slow car as well. I went at average speed of 40mph except during the tunnel/bridge to get to gas station number 6 where I shot up to about 65mph. I was very worried about this achievement but I am glad to have it under my belt! Hope this helps anyone who is worried about not having a fast car! I still had 1/9 of my clock remaining when I got to the gas station! :)
