How to unlock the Proper Scrapper achievement in Mafia II - Definitive Guide

Quick way to do this. Drive a car over to Bruski's and park it inside the crusher. Run out and activate the controls up the stairs. There will always be a car to the left of the crusher, and to make it respawn, drive around the circle in the scrapyard and by the time you make your first lap, the car should respawn. Keep doing that and you'll get the achievement pretty quick.

Great advice. There were actually two vehicles, a car and a truck, close to each other when I got here during chapter 2.

+1 from me..........I did that dumping the bartender's body mission, and I was like, what the hey, since I'm here, a couple laps with 4 more cars, cheevo popped!

Btw, this is the best way to get the last $2000 or so you will need in chapter 14 without getting a wanted level by robbing shops!

First of all you can drive up to 2 cars at once in the Scrap Press at Bruski's scrapyard. If you need this achievement or want to earn easy money get the 2 cars (Culver Empire and Shubert Pickup) left from the press and drive both into it. You will earn $823.55 for both cars! You can do this for every car separate, but this is really faster.

If you drive a little bit away from the scrapyard this both cars will respawn if you come back and you can do this over and over again.

Do Dereks achievement first and foremost as this achievement "Proper Scrapper" will come in handy later in the game once you are earning money to pay people back.

To get this achievement all you need to do is go to his scrapyard in a crap car, crush it using the controls walk down the steps and do the right (across from his shop) there is a car parked there, take it and go straight towards the train tracks and to the left, usually there are two cars there, take one, turn around and come back, the first car you stole should be there. Crush the one your in and repeat the before process. Do this until you have done 5 cars.

In Chapter 2 you'll meet Mike Bruski, and unlock an easy way to earn money. Beside his office in the scrapyard is a car crusher, AKA "Mike's Beast". Drive a car into the crusher, walk up the metal stairs to the control panel and pull the lever with the button to earn $400. After five cars are recycled, this trophy will pop.

at Michael Bruschi's landfill, next to the automobile press, there are already two parked cars (one passenger car, the second a pickup truck with a cargo in the form of boxes). you can sit in them and immediately take them under the press. then drive outside the landfill and return immediately - the cars will again be in their places. repeat again until you have 5 cars

I recommend doing this when you need to get money for Bruno. After we visit Derek, immediately go to Bruschi.

The easiest thing to do is in Chapter 2: when you appear in the parking lot, press 2 cars, leave the location, return, and so on until victory!

Apparently, after Chapter 8, only one machine can be found near the Bruschi press
