Start red gun. Point gun owner press x. Leave. Get car. Driving car go vrrrrrroorrrrrm. Go blue line orange. Enter store. Go fast. Point gun owner press x. Leave. Drive car go vrrrrrrrrroooom next store. Aim gun owner press x. Drive car go vrooooom. Get achievement.

OLD VERSION:

So there's kind of an overflow of information here. I think it's all useful, but I'm willing to bet some of it overkill. The stuck up achievement is best done on easy difficulty. But it can be done on hard. I'd recommend loading up a previously beaten chapter on easy. Preferably one where you have a few hundred dollars, but it's not required.

If you just wanna know what stores to rob, refer to the bottom of this solution.

First of all, there's two things you need:
Shotgun with a lot of ammo.
A sturdy vehicle with good acceleration. I'd recommend the Cossack, or an armored car.

The shotgun is crucial. You'll see why in a moment. If you don't have a shotgun, buy one. Do not rob a gun shop to get a shotgun, or you'll have to wait 5 minutes before attempting this achievement(So that the gun shop doesn't count towards the timer.) The sturdy vehicle is needed because chances are, the cops will be chasing and shooting at you.

If you've never robbed a store in Mafia 2, there's some things you should know.

People to watch out for:
Kill everyone except for women and old people. This is not a moral decision, it's just because women and old people are much less likely to pull a gun and shoot you. The people you want to gun down first are the people in leather, and nice suits. These are likely gang members or security guards.

Always kill the clerk in gun shops, or they'll kill you.

Robbing strategies:
Obviously it goes without saying that you shouldn't waste time killing innocents who've surrendered. When you start reigning down death, only stop if A) Everyone's dead, or B) the only people alive are the ones who have their hands on their head. Generally, after the second kill, people will either pull out their guns and start shooting, or put their hands on their head. With that done, rob the cash register.

INMATEofARKHAM added: You can always dial in a bribe for [the cops] to leave you alone. (I accidental grabbed the phone instead of the of the cash registrar in the last gun shop... It cost 500 for me but that's not too bad considering I had killed at least 3 cops.)

Clothing store:
Move to the back of the clothing store, as you're moving to the back look for the aforementioned people to kill. Once you're at the back, face the crowd, pull out your shotgun, and begin the execution. Rob the cash register. If you're taking a lot of damage, you can hide behind the back of the counter, or against the wall in the changing area.

Gun shop & Gas station:
The easiest of the easy. Gun shops/gas stations almost always(99.99%) only have 1 person in them - The clerk. Walk in, pull out your shotgun, kill the clerk and rob the cash register. Always kill the clerk in the gun shop. It's a gun shop, they're surrounded by guns. What do you think they'll do if they're presented with a robber?

Diner:
Diners are often filled with gang members. Move to the back, and start shooting. Start with the clerk, even if it's a woman, as sometimes they have a shotgun. If you take damage, you can take cover behind the counter.

INMATEofARKHAM added: If you need health you can take food off of the grill in the diner. (same is true for drink, etc... It seems only the stuff behind the counter is useable.)

The route:
These are the stores you'll be sticking up. I picked all of these strategically. Some of the alternatives may be closer, but time is not the only issue. Death is a factor, as well.

The light blue line indicates the quickest route to take, and the numbers refer to the order in which to rob the stores. So obviously you'd start at 1, follow the route to 2, then 3, then 4 and then finally 5.

To rob a store, run up to the cashier and press to push him/her. Then go to the cash register and press to rob the money. You can use a gun, but I'd suggest against it since using it would raise your wanted level faster.

Robbing five in five may sound tedious, but it's actually quite easy. An easy route to use:

- clothing store just south of the Grand Upper Bridges
- gas station south of the above clothing store
- clothing store east of the above gas station
- gas station to the northeast of the above clothing store
- clothing store just to the northwest of the above gas station

This route is basically a u-shape on the map, which makes it easy to drive since the roads are relatively straight.

Note that some food stores cannot be robbed. I'd also suggest against robbing gun stores as the owners will shoot back. You could always kill them but having cops on your trail may complicate matters.

The easiest way to do this is to find 5 stores that are close together and you can create an easy plan for. Keep in mind that any named shop can't be robbed at all and most deli's and bars have guards and/or the person behind the counter has a gun so be careful.

Travel to the West of Central park, to a clothes shop. From here follow a U shape around the lower course of this island to other stores (Gun Stores, Gas Stations, and 1 other Clothes Shop).

A fast car isn't as required as a manoeuvrable car, as police will most likely be on you constantly from the first robbing.
