How to unlock the Bon Appétit! achievement in Mafia III: Definitive Edition - Definitive Guide


Bon Appetit! Achievement/Trophy - Fed a body to an alligator.
Guide: To earn this achievement/trophy you need to throw a body into an area which is inhabited by alligators and wait until they feed on it. When the game first starts and you get control of your character go into where the keys are located and pick up the body. Now take the body outside and throw it into the alligator pit, this will unlock the achievement. There is also another achievement/trophy tied with the Bon Appetit one named Next Time Swim Faster. You can do this in the very first section. The guys you take out on the dock can be chucked in the river, then they become lunch.

Oddly enough, I just push some from the dock into the water it didn't pop. I had to knock them out and carry them to the water

This can be done in the first few minutes of the first mission. You will need to collect the keys for the federal reserve truck. In the same room, will be two guards, one tied to a chair and another on the floor. You can pick up the one on the floor and bring him outside, where you can toss is body into the bayou and a gator will eat him.

I got it by "accident" in the first minutes of first missions. When i stealth killed the first guy to the right, i threw him into the water. Seconds later, the achievement popped up.

Easy and fun achievement to get. You can find aligators in swamplands, rivers or in open sea. This can be done in beginning of the game. Knock out or kill an enemy near a water and drop his body there. Or you can use a boat take a body with you and go find some alligators to serve them free meal.

Very early in the game you'll need to kill some enemies in the bayou. One enemy will be standing all the way on the right of a pier close to your starting position. Kill him and hold cn_down to pick him up, dump him in the water by pressing cn_down and watch the trophy ding as an alligator swoops in to eat him.

Easy achievement to get. You can find alligators in the swamps, rivers or in open sea. This can be done in beginning of the game. Knock out or kill anyone near the water and drop their body in the water.

To earn this achievement, you'll need to throw a body where there are alligators in the water. The easiest place to do this is at the very beginning of the game, when you jump off the boat to fight the Hatians. Once on the dock, go right and you'll see a lone guy standing on the end of the dock. When you kill him, just pick up his body and drop it directly in the water for the achievement. You can get the achievement even earlier. When you first gain control of your character (the objective is to grab the keys), there is a body lying on the floor next to the keys. Pick up the body, walk outside and drop it in the water.

Takedown any enemy, pick up their body with and drop the body in a river. After a few seconds, an alligator should appear. There are few alligators in the rivers between districts, but plenty of alligators in the Bayou to the south.
