How to unlock the Can't Trust a Rat achievement in Mafia III: Definitive Edition - Definitive Guide

During the "interrogate" objectives during story missions you will have to travel to locations and kill everyone and shoot the target until you can hold B on them. Once they give up the information you need to press A to kill them. I killed every informant from the start and this unlocked about 75% into the story so there are in fact more than 15 informants opportunities during the game. Vito's side missions will also have some informant objectives. Goodluck!

It appears as if you get two informant chances per racket. But if you activate (kill) one, the other one disappears...

This achievement is missable. And if you get this, You CAN'T get "Live Another Day".

Because you could flip half and kill half, therefore it's miss able.

Yes i have a same problem, i kill someone's and i flip someones. 2 achievements stucked up in the game... i must play again twice, because i kill informants i get this achievement, if i don't kill the informants i get another achievements... its crazy :D

I just did a “drive like a madman” interrogate and held B for drift cheevo at the end, then just asked me to choose A to kill, B to flip while still held B button. Of course closing game and delete save not helped, my choose was already in the cloud. New game, again…

Just make sure to kill every informant in one playthrough, and recruit every informant in another one. It's also missable because there's not enough informants in the game. You can kill 8 and recruit 8, thereby missing both achievements in your first time playing the game, and have to do another two playthroughs to get them.

In order to kill or recruit informants, you have to know who these informants are and when you'll come across them. Here is a list of all the informants in the game. The list is sorted on districts.

Please note that you will not be able to interact with all the informants shown on the list. As I played through the game I noticed the following; In some districts you need to interact with 2 of the available 3/4 informants, the other informants in the district will disappear from the map.

When you interact with one of these informants, you have the option to kill or spare them. For this achievement you need to Kill them by pressing cn_A!
