How to unlock the Testing the Shocks achievement in Mafia III: Definitive Edition - Definitive Guide
First of all, you don't need a fast car for this achievement, just the right location with a good ramp.
In the south of the Southdowns area is a bridge and above is a parking place. Here you can find a small ramp. This ramp-jump is in the direction of the bridge and nearly perfect for this achievement. The 50 meter which are required for the achievement starts with the entrance of the bridge.
You can do the jump with any car you want, the only requirement is a speed of 75-90 mph.

This can be done at any point during the game. You will need to locate a fast sports car (many spawn in the Frisco Fields suburbs area, if there are none, leave the area and come back). Now head to the top left corner of Frisco Fields and follow the road into a jump in a construction site, landing in the suburbs section.

Everybody seems to be getting this achievement with the De'Leo Stiletto which I had not come across yet at the time of this writing. I got this achievement very easily with a car that is always available--the Samson Opus. So, I thought I'd show where to get the car and how to get the achievement without using any ramps.
You can get this achievement very close to the beginning of the game. The current mission is A Taste of the Action where we learn how to set routes. Instead of going to Sammy's Bar in New Bordeaux as the game would have you go, we set a route to a garage in Tickfaw Harbor to pick up a Samson Opus. The Samson Opus is always available in the garage shown in the video. No updates or modifications are required. The car goes up an incline after a bend in the top part of the route. If the car is going at a high rate of speed, it will automatically go airborne. Even if you crash at the end, the car will not flip so you will get credit for landing on the wheels. The advantage of this route is you do not have to use a tricky ramp:
We need not have driven that long a route to get this achievement. We didn't need a very long approach for the jump. So, if you're working towards this achievement by itself, you can start your approach just before the bend in the road. However, by taking the long approach we were able to keep our speed above 120 mph for 20 seconds to get this achievement at the same time:

Testing the shocks trophy/achievement - While driving, performed a 50 meter jump and landed on your wheels.
Guide: Around Frisco Fields you will find a car by the name of "De'Leo Stiletto". Now this thing is one of, if not the fastest car in the game so once you have found one start at the bridge on the bottom left of Frisco Fields and follow that road. You will come to a mini bridge which your car will fly over and you will get the achievement/trophy.
while you have the stiletto consider doing this achievement:
Easiest. Sorry, no picture.
In the first part of the town there is a large car store. It should be in the upper part of the Delray Hollow, somewhere in the middle (the Delray Hollow is divided in several segments, so it's a top-middle one).
To the left of the store is a cafe with sloped roof called The Briar Patch (its on the map if you use the junction boxes) which touches the ground from the left - handy, as you can drive on it and use a ramp. I was going 80-90 when I hit it and easly flew over the car store parking. Bling!

Nice video here by PowerPyx:
Get a fast car, like the De'Leo Stiletto from your Vehicle Delivery associate. Drive to Frisco Fields to a construction site near the lake. There's a ramp facing eastwards here that you can use, with a long stretch of road starting all the way from the top northwest corner of the map that will be enough for you to get enough speed to clear 50 meters. Your car must land on its wheels.
