CHALLENGE 9
Terror your opponent's Wall of Air. Cast the following, in this order: Etherium Sculptor, Master of Etherium, Onyx Goblet, Loxodon Warhammer, Howling Mine. Attack with everything. Use the Onyx Goblet on your opponent.

CHALLENGE 10
The solution to this challenge has changed since the Expansion Pack 2 update.
Cast Jagged Lightning, targeting the Angel of Mercy and YOUR OWN Mudbutton Torchrunner. Once the Mudbutton Torchrunner hits the graveyard, you'll be prompted to use its ability. Use it to deal 3 damage to your opponent. Cast Vengeful Firebrand. Attack with everything.

This is the solution that used to work, just in case it changes again:
Cast the following, in this order: Obsidian Battle Axe, Vengeful Firebrand. Let the Obsidian Battle Axe attach to the Vengeful Firebrand. Use Vengeful Firebrand's ability to give it +1/+0. Attack with everything. Usually this alone wins, but if your opponent blocks optimally, it leaves them at one life. All you need to do is assign the Mudbutton Torchrunner's damage to them.

CHALLENGE 11
Play a Plains. Attack with Ambassador Laquatus, then immediately hit X to stop the countdown. Cast Condemn on Ambassador Laquatus. On your second main phase, cast Kiss of the Amesha on yourself. Cast Wrath of God, and end the turn. Your opponent will cast Nightmare, and end the turn. On your turn, play a Plains. Cast Ambassador Laquatus. Use Ambassador Laquatus' ability three times on your opponent, and end the turn.

Note that this achievement was bugged when the DLC was first released, but has been fixed. If you earned it while it was bugged, and it's not showing as earned on xbox.com, here's how you fix it: Recover your profile on the xbox, then go back to the game, and replay challenge 9. This'll pop the achievement again.

I have been trying this strategy for Challenge 10 for like an hour and every time I cast the Vengeful Firebrand, the game uses all 4 of my mountains so I only have 2 forest left. I have even tried looking around the internet for other ways but none of them are working.

The game doesn't save any red mana after casting the Firebrand so you can't give it a +1 boost in damage, and the Madbutton Torchrunner does not die.

Proper solution is:

If your cast Jagged lightning and target the angle of mercy and your torchrunner 1st. Then cast Firebrand and attack with both your warriors. That should leave? Elspeth at -1. (Taken from a YouTube comment and confirmed works)

Both solutions for challenge 10 in here are wrong.

Original one - The Torchrunner doesn't die, and you don't have the lands to use the +1 for Firebrand.

CanadaAckis - Also wrong. If you do that, you leave Elspeth with two blockers...the monk and the hawk. He can then block both of your creatures happily, leaving Elspeth undamaged.

You can use the torchrunner damage on one of the creatures, but it still leaves you with 1 blocker, and neither of your two attackers can kill her by herself.

For Challenge 11, you could also cast Unsummon on Crowd of Cinders, use Ambassador Laquatus' ability,then attack, use Condemn on the Ambassador and then in your 2nd main phase use Kiss of the Amesha on yourself. You will have enough life to survive the next rounds attack from Liliana, and she was always cast Nekrataal the next round, using its ability to kill your Purity for you to redraw it next turn. Once she attacks you should have 2 life left, just like you started and of course you'll have to discard a card due to Abysaal Specter, and that doesn't matter, just don't discard Laquatus. On your Main phase, just cast Laquatus and use his ability to win.

Note: I can confirm what Norvy has stated works, sadly as i have to now re-do all the new achievements lol XD

Challenge 10 now has a different solution:

- cast Jagged lightning and target the Angel of Mercy and your torchrunner.
- deal 3 damage to Elspeth
- cast Firebrand
- attack with everything
