How to unlock the A Virtue achievement in Major League Baseball 2K10 - Definitive Guide
Easy way to get this achievement is to; Choose Play Ball from the main menu. Put the away team as the National League All-Stars, and the home team as the Pirates. Play as the NL All-Stars
Then while the game is loading edit your line-up. Put Albert Pujols as your lead-off hitter. As every pitch thrown to Pujols will be shown, take pitches outside the zone, and defensive swing at strikes. (Right/Left on Right Analog Stick). Then, when it is a 3-2 count, defensive swing at everything. If you strike-out or hit the ball fair just go to Quit then Rematch. Rinse and repeat until you get it. Took me 3 tries.

Another easy way to get this achievement is to just play through a game and when your pitcher gets up just use the defensive swing and usually they will foul it off. I got this my first try with Johan Santana, I had a 22 pitch at bat doing that so it does not seem like a fluke that I was able to foul off 10.
you don't have to change any stats or the way that you go about batting. Just change your regular swings during a strike to a defensive swing. Got this during franchise with Soriano and the cubs. If its a strike, foul it off, and let the balls go by...but not too many cause then you'll walk. Try to get three or four defensive swings and/or strikes right off the bat...pun intended
