There's a very simple way of getting this achievement if you don't want to do it the old fashioned way. After you have played your 20 games, simply get 17 walks with a pitcher in a single game and the achievement will unlock. The record is 16 Walks in a game.
If you're worried about messing up your pitchers ERA, then bring in a pitcher from the minor leagues when the roster expands to 40 towards the end of the season.

Remember Me achievement - Break a record in Franchise Mode. (Play at least 20 games)

Make sure you play 20 games. You can sim the game but must hit play and watch the intro. But before the first pitch is thrown you can sim the game. Repeat for all 20 games. 3 innings is okay but totally unnecessary since you will sim all games anyway.

I chose to break the record for most walks given up in one game. The record is 16 walks/BB. To break the record, you must walk at least 17 batters but I don't think Hit By Pitch (HBP) counts towards the total walks- I tried this and the cheevo didn't pop for some reason.

Rather, I walked 17 batters by pitching 4 consecutive balls per batter. I did sim for the first 20 games. After I walked about 30 batters, I did sim for the remainder of the 9 innings. After I hit "quit" and the stats saved, pop went the achievement.

You can get this achievement if you just play your 20 games and then sim the season. You can get this achievement even if you aren't playing in the game. I didn'te ven do it intentionall, but in my franchise mode I played the games that 3 of my starters always started and simmed the other two, and in one of the games I simmed Adrian Beltre got 7 at-bats in a game, so the Achievement popped for me. The likelihood of this happening may be a little low, and I may just have gotten lucky, but you can play your 20 games and sim a season one month at a time and quit without saving until simming a month gets you the achievement.

3 Inning games and you can walk them intentionally. Does not pop until you return to the franchise menu.

Stack your starting rotation with the best pitchers I Strongly Advise For Cliff Lee. Have games set for 3 Innings. I personally got it by starting a game, and when the game began, super sim it, but be my guest to play them. Get to 20 games (Most Of Which You Should Start With Cliff Lee, Also Turn Fatigue Off) played in the schedule left hand corner. Sim the rest of the season. I did it with the Yankees so it will pop when the amount gets to 11 shut outs!
