Work counts, wait for a good pitch and don't try to hit home runs. If you have the patience to work a walk, that will help as well. Unlocked 'Hawkeye' as I batted around.

Proof that a good guide doesnt have to be long and involved. Good advice here.
I would like to add the importance of managing your base-runners. Dont waste them and increase your outs by risking the runners on steals and long leads. Your best bet is to keep them one or maybe two steps off the bag at most.
Play small ball... sit back and wait for a pitch to hit then drive it with a good contact swing.

Just wanted to add that if you're boosting this online, DO NOT hit batters consecutively to load the bases faster! I was prompted to kick my partner after every 3 or so hit batters, which i think reset the counter and the achievement didn't pop after 15 or so batters in a row. draw normal walks or just keep bunting the first pitch until you bat around.
