How to unlock the Trifectas Maximus achievement in Major League Baseball 2K10 - Definitive Guide
The key to earning this Achievement is just getting the timing down on one pitcher's delivery. Consistency will net you this Achievement after throwing your third pitch at maximum efficiency.
When you select a pitch, it will consist of two stick movements. Hold the first movement while the yellow ring rotates and grows in size, then make the second movement when the ring is at its best position. You can see where it will "lock" into position with the yellow teeth around the outside once it hits around MAX efficiency. If you see "OVERTHROWN", you held it too long. If you don't see it turn red and say MAX, you didn't hold it long enough.
Choose a pitcher and a pitch with which you feel most at ease. Ignore the catcher's suggestions if you're just going for the Achievement. Stick with your money pitch - it doesn't matter whether or not the batter hits it for this Achievement. I suggest using Ted Lilly of the Chicago Cubs. His delivery is pretty evenly paced and esay to time. Once you nail it you'd be surprised how easy it is to put streaks of three, four, five or more together. Just make sure you're on Pro or higher difficulty.

They do not have to be against the same batter, and they do not have to be strikes. They don't even have to be in the same inning.
