How to unlock the All the Tea... achievement in Major League Baseball 2K9 - Definitive Guide

for this you have to get all the cards in the game

use this checklist to keep track of the cards you still need

i just thought i would throw this out there.. if your working on the cards and playing single player. go to rosters and reset them.. that way they will be the rosters as they were when the game came out. everytime you restart the game you will need to do that. but this way everyone is on the right team and not in the minors.

or you could start a franchise and put the 'edit computer roster' option to yes

The checklist is a must, but for some of the harder cards like the ones where you have to strike a guy out 4 times in a game or hit 4 homeruns in a game, you can go edit the individual player stats and boost them all up, or lower them. As long as you play a game on pro or higher the cards will still unlock.

If there is a card you are stuck on, start up a game with two controllers. Get the player that you need the card for one away (or have them meet the requirement). Save and quit. Start the game up with one controller and get the last requirement (or get one more of the requirement). Example: Player needs 3 HRs in a game. Hit 2 HRs using 2 controllers then try to hit a HR against the computer.

Getting all of the cards will take a long time but is not difficult by any means. You can accumulate these on your own or through card battles online. If you are playing on your own, make sure you are on Pro difficulty. Use your team with maxed stats to unlock the cards for that team and others teams. The Classic Cards can be gotten through the technique discussed in 'Unhittable' as long as it's on Pro difficulty.

Although it's time consuming, I believe the best way to unlock every card is to max your stats and lower the stats to 0 for every player on every team. It takes a long time to edit the rosters, but once that's done the task becomes so much easier. If you're patient and don't want to play against another person, go for it.

NOTE: If you use the technique for reloading the game and finishing it, there is a glitch in the trading card area within the in-game menu. In Classic Cards, it will show higher numbers than what's required and won't show the next card needed. Don't worry about this, as it's cosmetic. Your cards will still unlock. For strikeouts, if you've gotten the requirement but no card is unlocking, throw a strikeout in this or any game. Same thing for home runs and stolen bases.
