If you're specifically out to get this achievement make sure you press "Up" on the left control stick. Besides pressing "Up" Aim it to the left or the right depending on which outfield porch is shorter. Also if you are left handed it is obviously easier to hit it out in the right, and vice versa. You shouldn't have a problem with this achievement. If you're really having a problem here's some tips.
1) Pick a team that is good at hitting...specifically power. The Brewers (Ryan Braun, Prince Fielder, JJ Hardy, Corey Hart, Mike Cameron all had more than 20 home runs last year). Yankees are also good, Red Sox, Angels...etc...
2)You can adjusts the sliders
4) You can go online and match up with a friend in a ranked match (just search at the same time). Player match stats don't count I believe. Have him throw you fastball down the middle, you nail it out.
