you dont even have to mess with his stats im playing season mode and i got him in a trade ive hit 3 homers in 2 games with him with out messing with the slidders. =]

After you boost his stats, you can change the difficulty to boost your hitting way up and the opposing pitching all the way down and you should get this in your 1st at bat with timmy.

I Went 3 for 3 with 3 HRS with Tim in the only game I played... Very easy.
