How to unlock the Be Gone! achievement in Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds - Definitive Guide

For those of you unfamiliar with "Snap Backs", Snap Back is a universal move that not only does damage to the unblocking opponent, but switches them out to one of their assists. It does, however, use one of your hyper bars.

When having at least a LVL1 hyper bar, roll in the direction of your target and press either A1 or A2 (Assist 1/Assist 2)

IE: If you were on the left, press cn_downcn_downrightcn_right then cn_RB or cn_LB.

You'll know if it was properly executed if your opponent is switched out and "Snap Back!" is displayed on your side of the screen.

Just a few notes:
- Snap Backs are no bueno when blocked.
- You can not execute a Snap Back if the opponent has no remaining assists.

While playing Arcade on Very Easy and Low Damage, I was able to pound out 3-4 Snap Backs each fight. Easy breezy.

It means you have to do a quarter circle toward your opponent. Also no bueno when blocked means that if your opponent blocks then the snap back obviously does not work.

No bueno is spanish for "no good". Snap Backs won't work when blocked. That's kind of a give-me.

(Down)(Down Right)(RIght)(RB or LB)
That makes that you press each one of those buttons in that order. Not a the same time. Enjoy.

I don't know how much more I can break this down.

Just press down, and then roll it toward right. (That would mean you'd hit the diagonal button on the way too.)

(Down) and then (Down Right) and then (Right). AND THEN press (RB).

It isn't until you press (RB) or (RIGHT BUMPER) that your character will do the Snap Back.

You have to do it pretty quick or the Xbox won't know you're trying to do it.

No, it isn't a combo. It's one move.

First of all, "lX CaptHowdy Xl" you are uneducated, ignorant, racist and stupid!

Thanks very much for the solution, worked just fine! I personally did it with Tron, if that helps anybody.

What an ignorant racist.. and honestly, I really can not get the hang of it. I've successfully done it twice.. out of like over 100 tries. I have the quarter circle move down because I use it for combos and quick-strike attacks (Dante and Cap.) and special ranged attacks (Iron Man, Sentinel) all the time.. but what am I doing wrong here?

I suggest choosing Thor because his attack mighty speech (Down,Down + B hold down) charges his special and you can easily get 10 snapbacks in 1 fight. -Roningaliv

Snap Back is a universal move that not only deals damage to the enemy, but also forcibly replaces him with one of the other characters.

The technique is easier to do on a stick - just scroll the left stick from bottom to right ↓ ↘ → + press the R1 button.

During a successful technique, your character will turn red for a moment, and the enemy will fly away from the blow and switch places with another character, the words “Snap Back!” will appear on the screen.

The technique costs one Hyper Combo bar.
