How to unlock the Passed the Field Test achievement in Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds - Definitive Guide

This one isn't too hard. There are 36 playable characters (38 with Jill and Shuma), each with 10 missions. Use characters you have a decent feel with and practice until you begin to nail down thier combos.

As an added suggestion, simply complete 4-5 missions per character and you'll have this in no time.

This unlocked for me around 45% completion.

Good luck and happy brawling!

Youtube user VesperArcade has posted multiple Mission Mode guides showcasing how they're meant to be done on his YouTube channel. He shows (using a fightstick) the timing and button presses needed to complete each mission, here is one of his countless videos for reference:

I was wondering about the negatives as well Shemp. o_o; Oh well. I contacted Vesper to see if I could post a video or two on this solution to get people to know he exists. Want me to add your tips into the solution? (Full credit to you of course. :P)

Stifler4Life feel free to add my comments in your solution if you like. You don't have to if you don't want to. Most folks can just see them in the comments section. Hard achievement doing these missions. Those Chun Li ones are tough.

Just to confirm, the DLC characters ones do count towards the mission mode achievements, I had this pop this morning while I doing some of Jill's missions. That makes it a little easier to hit this figure.

Great Legend Shemp Howard here coming at you live! This is a good guide...I don't know why there are negatives on here. I will add a thumbs up and also add this bit of information.

Most of these Capcom fighting games require you to have some very good timing when linking button presses. One thing I do is break the combo down. If you are having problems with button linking and timing do the first three parts of the combo. Get comfortable with it then add the 4th and 5th...Keep going with it like that. It does take a little longer, but you will learn the combo in no time. If you need help with placement on the stage or timing check out VesperArcade's YouTube Channel.

He has a section called Marvel vs Capcom 3 Mission Mode on his Playlists. Check them out if you are having trouble with any character's missions.

To avoid counting missions, you can navigate by the percentage completed in the upper right corner. For the trophy you need to complete 44.44 percent of the missions if you didn't buy DLC characters.
