How to unlock the Peak Condition achievement in Mass Effect 3 - Definitive Guide

The fastest way to get this achievement is through co-operative multiplayer. Even if you import a level 30 from Mass Effect 2 it will take almost the entire game to reach level 60, and that will require doing a fair amount of sidequests. Alternatively, you can get this in about 10 hours of multiplayer as long as you keep playing with the same class (e.g., I started with a female engineer and moved to a Salarian engineer for the last couple of levels)

You will also receive

Mass Effect 3Almost ThereThe Almost There achievement in Mass Effect 3 worth 18 pointsReach level 15 in multiplayer or level 50 in single-player.

during your course to this achievement.

Please leave any feedback so that I can improve this guide, and if it is negative please state why.

does this unlock when you get your profile to level 20 or when you get your one specific class character to level 20? i know your profile can level up WAY past 20, so as far as the assumed difficulty i would think you have to get one class to level 20.

It has to be one class. You can get your profile or N7 rating to 120. Like I said I was almost level 20 with the engineer class, but my N7 rating is at 23.

You need to do one class. I got this last night as engineer. There are four characters in each class so you can swap between those.

I dont think this would take 10 hours I have been playing for aproximatley 3-4 and am already 16 with my engineer. But I guess its better to over estimate then to under so people arent disappointed. Either way good guide!

@DJ 0311 yeah I overestimated for sure, but I have been taking my time with other classes and I play around in the menus a lot. Plus, I don't know for sure how many XP are required between the last couple of levels. Also, thanks everyone for not flaming me for not having the achievement yet.

Its also an easy way to get the cheevo's for killing enemies as well, I think to kill 2,500 at 25 kills a game (conservatively) it will take a hundred MP games which isn't that difficult. The mail box achievement is also easy to get on MP.

I'm a quarter way through my second play through and I'm at 55, and I didn't upload a mass effect 2 character. It doesn't take that lomg in single player, and it's alot easier to play.

took me 4 hours of MP to go from level 0-20. It is quicker than going for level 60 SP.

you can get to level 60 in one playthrough.....playing on normal do every dlc and when picking up med packs change the difficulty to insanity for the most bonus. You should be 60 before you start the mission to take back earth....then you can do it on narrative....

The most efficient way to unlock Peak Condition is through multiplayer. En route you'll also net:
Mass Effect 3Almost ThereThe Almost There achievement in Mass Effect 3 worth 18 pointsReach level 15 in multiplayer or level 50 in single-player.

Mass Effect 3ExplorerThe Explorer achievement in Mass Effect 3 worth 17 pointsComplete three multiplayer matches or five N7 missions.

and
Mass Effect 3TouristThe Tourist achievement in Mass Effect 3 worth 5 pointsComplete one multiplayer match or two N7 missions.
if not already unlocked through single player progression.

This requires you to rank one class up to lvl 20, your N7 rating is separate and not of consequence to this achievement.

Tactic wise it's proves most effective to roll with a diverse four-man squad, preferably with mics for communication. I mention diverse because there's not much benefit to having four soldiers and with the same skill set. You will start to cut through waves fairly quickly once you have a range of upgraded abilities working for you.

- Someone able to neutralize barriers
-Someone able to take down shields
-Someone able to penetrate armor.

Our squad consisted of mainly: Adept, Engineer, Soldier and Infiltrator

Now speaking to the missions. If you're strictly looking to rank up quickly unknown location (10% xp bonus) unknown enemy (15% xp bonus) and bronze missions are the way to go.

Once you get into the groove you can knock out 10 waves plus extraction in 15-17 mins and usually net 140k-170k in xp. Silver missions are doable with a good group and although the bring in more credits the xp rewards aren't enough of a jump to warrant spending double the time it takes to complete bronze missions. If you can roll through Gold maps...then you prob have no use for this guide and I don't really need to entertain that as an option lol.

Two big things to concentrate on are:

- Not going down! You'll get xp bonuses after completing 3 (2500 xp), 5 (5000 xp) and 10 (15,000 xp) waves consecutively if none of your squad go down at all.
- When it's time for extraction you don't all have to been in the zone during the countdown BUT ensure you're all there when the counter expires to net another 15,000 xp bonus.

All in all I spent about 7hrs working on this and once you've hit lvl 20 if you're comfortable promoting them (similar to prestiging) you can also attain Solution for Battle Scarred In Mass Effect 3

I know this guide is pretty late to the party, but for those who, like me, have the DLC installed and again, like me, are late to the party playing this amazing game, I highly recommend doing the DLC as early as possible when starting this game. Omega, Leviathan, and From Ashes can be done pretty much after Palavan, offer some great new weapons and upgrades to start you off, and offer a bucket load of EXP.

I've done Palavan, Omega dlc and Leviathan dlc and I am already level 31. I haven't even touched the main game really and still have From Ashes and Citadel dlc, so I would be highly surprised if I didn't hit level 60 by the end of my first playthough! Should put me in good stead for an Insanity playthru with a meaty character without having to worry about whether I will hit l60 or not.

Sarge

SP: Level 60 is the highest level you can obtain in Mass Effect 3. Once you hit this level, you will automatically gain the achievement. If you played Mass Effect 2 and imported your character, you will start the game leveled up. You can be as high as level 30 when you start your new game, meaning you are already halfway there.

MP: You must stick to one character and focus on leveling it up. It doesn't matter if you win or lose the matches, you will still gain experience. This is probably the faster option of the two to unlock this achievement.

Single player: If you imported a save from Mass Effect 2, then you will get this pretty easily in your first playthrough since you will start at whatever level you left off at (ie. If you ranked up to level 30, then you’ll start at level 30). I ended up at level 57 after my first playthrough. It took me a few more hours in New Game+ after importing my character to reach level 60.

If you don’t have an ME2 save, then you’ll be starting from level 1 and your path will be much longer. You made need two or three full playthroughs to reach level 60.

Multiplayer: Online co-op is the quickest route to this trophy. You will need 2.5 million experience points to reach level 20 in multiplayer. Each round takes roughly 20-30 minutes. On the bronze rounds that I completed, I averaged around 100,000 XP per round. On silver, it was over 200,000 XP. It took around 10-12 hours of playing online to reach level 20 and most of that was done on the way to getting Defender. Below is the list of XP requirements to rank up in multiplayer.

  • Level 1 - Starting Point
  • Level 2 - +12.5k
  • Level 3 - +25k
  • Level 4 - +25k
  • Level 5 - +37.5k
  • Level 6 - +50k
  • Level 7 - +50k
  • Level 8 - +50k
  • Level 9 - +62.5k
  • Level 10 - +62.5k
  • Level 11 - +62.5k
  • Level 12 - +62.5k
  • Level 13 - +125k
  • Level 14 - +125k
  • Level 15 - +125k
  • Level 16 - +125k
  • Level 17 - +250k
  • Level 18 - +250k
  • Level 19 - +500k
  • Level 20 - +500k

It’s easier to reach level 20 online, since you can also get the trophy at the maximum percentage of the galaxy’s readiness

Received for the first playthrough on Mad. Just at the end. Of course, everything needs to be done.

And so, everyone decides in their own way.

The easiest way to do it is in network mode, but it can be done quickly in a company (if you import from ME2 (the character starts at lvl 25)).
