How to unlock the It's Over achievement in Mega Man X Legacy Collection - Definitive Guide

To beat the final boss use the catapillars to refill on health, Sub-Tank energy, energy for weapon power, and lives. I'll have assumed you have all the upgrades at this point including the Hadoken but if you don't just comment or message me and I'll tell you how to get what you are looking for.

The Hadoken works as a 1-hit kill on any enemy in the game (except Sigma's final form) as long as you have full health and haven't been damaged yet this life. You can perform it easiest by using the control stick. Do a cn_down
cn_right when on the left side of the screen followed with a fire button (just like in Street Fighter II).

#1 Sigma's Dog: Hadoken him right off the bat, sometimes he jumps first but not always. The important thing to remember is not to have a charge up shot ready as that will give him invincibility frames when it hits him thus not connecting with your Hadoken afterwards.

#2 Sigma (with Sword): easy Hadoken here and he's out fast, he just runs into it.

#3 Sigma's Wolf Face: Forget the Hadoken here it's too tough to be effective. Only thing that hurts him is the Fully Charged up Spiral Shot (your Enhanced X-Buster) and if you are super close the Armadillo Shot works too. But first, use the fully charged up Chameleon Shot power to become invincible and then easily climb to a platform pad and stand on the edge of it with your one foot hanging in the air. The only way he can hurt you now is when his other platform crashes into you. Keep charging your Spiral Shot and fire when you are high enough. When he gets super close, pause the game, and select Armadillo Shot and get a free hit in.

After he's dead the achievement will pop. Comment with anything that can make this guide better and wow I'm so happy to have this game on Xbox One Finally!!

You must defeat the final boss of Mega Man X.

If you can, defeat Velgauder with a Hadoken (one-shot kill), otherwise use the Shotgun Ice. After that, hug the upper left corner and let Sigma jump up to just below you. Then hit him with a Electric Spark as you fall to the ground and jump back up to the left corner when it’s safe. Repeat this and Sigma is pretty easy.

The real trick is Wolf Sigma, the final boss. You need to hit him in the head with the Rolling Shield Be very careful with the lightning shots they spit out, ad don’t let the hands hit you when you try to climb on them or you’ll take damage as well. Use sub tanks whenever you’re in danger.

I like to hug the upper corners, getting a shot at his head and taking damage just to stay in range. Use the hands only when it’s easy to do so, otherwise you risk getting hit and finding yourself back on the floor where the kill box is.

If you fail and restart the stage, use a charged Rolling Shield and float over a hole where Creepers come out and just collect items until your tanks are refiled and your weapon energy restored.

This trophy will pop once Wolf Sigma falls.
