How to unlock the Size Matters Not achievement in Mega Man X Legacy Collection - Definitive Guide

Because of the way it's worded you can take damage you just have to finish the level with full health. The enemies are a joke for the most part just take them out at a distance. When you get to the track part stay on top. When the crane pulls you over immediately jump off the ledge so the electricity doesn't damage you. When the level crusher dude tries to crush you just climb n take him out. That's all the enemies other than the boss. Remember to get the health if you need it.

The boss: you have to beat him without taking any damage as there is no health pickups at this point. His head is the only thing you can damage about 5-6 fully charged shots kills him. His head can damage you, so can his spikes on his hands, as well as his feet. You want to go to the left or the right carefully at the start, that's the trickiest part. I went to the right. Do a small hop over his right arm but not high enough to hit his head. Charge shot him once as you pass him. Then go all the way to the right top and climb the wall. He can't touch you here. He will come, when he does let him jump, on the way down follow him to the right side and let off a charge shot, climp up the wall again n rinse n repeat, easy at that point he just jumps. Let me know if I can do anything to improve this, thanks!

One thing I have to say negatively about the X Legacy Collection - I miss the save at any time feature from the classic MMLC.

Just a small heads-up, you can do this in rookie hunter mode, which makes you take zero damage from some of his attacks. Not 100% necessary, but it can help.

As DarkWingSpartan pointed out on MegaManSurvives's solution, you can play on rookie hunter mode. You take NO damage from anything and the boss is really easy as it is. You don't even need to charge your shots as normal shots still do a lot to him.

Easiest done on Rookie Hunter but it can be done normally too. Just watch out for his head, hands, and feet. The rest of him won't damage you.

Not as hard as it sounds. You have to beat the first stage of Mega Man X2 with all your life. That means, you have to beat Giant Mechaniloid CG-0 without getting hit. You do not have to clear the stage without getting hit, just go into the boss with a full life bar and don’t get hit fighting it.

To do that, you need to watch how he jumps. Avoid being on the right or left of him, where his spiky hands will fall as they can hit you when he lands. Also avoid the sides of his head. Climb the platforms and shot him in the head for victory. It takes four charged shots to kill it.

Alternatively, you can use Rookie Hunter mode to remove the threat of damage almost entirely. Credit: Killbomb

On the left, jump onto the wall higher, the robot will only jump and you can safely shoot without taking damage.

To make it as easy as possible to get the achievement, just turn on the Rookie Hunter mode
