In order to get the Ultimate Armor for X, on the character select screen at the beginning of the game highlight X and press: B twice, then left of D-Pad 6 times, then hold LB and RT together and press Start. You may want to hold LB & RT until the start of the level and you gain control of X (that’s what I did and it worked). If you did it correctly, the joints between X’s armor pieces should look more purple than normal. Then to get the Ultimate Armor, get to Web Spider’s stage and go to the leg capsule upgrade behind the waterfall near the start of the level and you will get the Ultimate Armor instead. The effect of the Ultimate Armor is unlimited Nova Strike.

As long as you DON’T do this code on the character select screen, when you complete the game with X, you will get this achievement.

Additionally, you can play through X4 with Black Zero (which will not void any achievements). To do this, highlight him on the character select screen and hold RB while pressing right on the D-Pad 6 times, then hold B and press Start.
