How to unlock the Stand Up and Shout achievement in Mercenaries 2: World in Flames - Definitive Guide
This achievement is awarded when you obtain the max mood (the faction loves you) for the Allies Faction (AN). You can check the mood of any faction in the menu during gameplay.
At the start of the game you do not have the whole map unlocked to you and you can't do Chinese or Allied (AN) missions. Once you get to the part of the game where you need to verify Carmona (and you complete that mission) head back to the PMC and talk to Fiona to gain access to the whole map and Chinese/Ally missions.
If you have max U.P. Mood after you unlock the rest of the map this achievement should unlock, if it's not glitched (Thanks I Ace TDK I).
There are multiple ways to unlock this achievement. The first and easiest way (if you have a friend willing to boost) is to get a friend that has max mood with the AN, if so it will unlock once you join his game.
If you do not have a friend you can do this by completing AN missions or bribing the AN (Allies). Doing missions for the AN will allow you to progress thought the game while getting this achievement. If you want to spend the money and bribe them do as with Fiona at the PMC.
Once you get max mood it should unlock (again you can check on your mood in the in-game menu).
This achievement WAS bugged for me (reason why it's not timestamped for me). If it does get bugged for you there are several ways to unlock this achievement (if you try all of these it should UNLOCK).
METHOD ONE: Get the AN mood to neutral (by completing a Chinese mission) then getting the AN mood back to max (by completing a AN mission). This DID NOT work for me.
METHOD TWO: Save your game (with max mood), exit to dashboard, LOG OFF OF XBL (still sign into your account but don't be connected to live, so unplug your wireless adapter or Ethernet cable), get back into the game and load the game save up. If it worked it should unlock when you FIRST start the game. This method DID NOT work for me.
METHOD THREE: Clearing your cache. Save your game (with max mood), exit to the dashboard, go to the system panel, go to the memory button, press X, X, LB, RB, X, X. Hit "Yes" on the confirmation box and you are set to go. Reload the game answer NO to the update (so you will be off line but logged into your profile), load the game, and pop... This method did work for me. I have included a video on how to clear your cache.
I hope this helps someone out... I had several glitched achievements in this game so I had memorized clearing my cache out.
NOTE: Clearing your cache out is COMPLETELY safe. All it does is clear out all the game's updates (you just have to re-download them) however it does not clear out any information, GS, downloaded games, movies, DLC, and so on.

In theory this achievement is very simple and there should be no problem getting it, but is a well knwon glitched achievement so often is very difficult to unlock. In my case, I had to make several attempts using various methods to unlock it, with the exception of clearing xbox cache and playing offline method, because I wanted to get online, so that way was reserved as a last resource.
I describe the different ways that I use without result:
- after getting maximum mood with the China, I was playing until I achieved maximum mood with the Allies, and not unlocked
- I decreased the AN mood to neutral or hostile and then got the AN mood back to max, but nothing.
- load another savegame after verfied Carmona, get the maximum mood with UP, go back to PMC HQ and gain acces to full map with the Allies mood maxed out. Nothing.
- one day, a random player joined to my game while I was triying to get maximum mood with Allies again, The achievement only unlocked for him
- another day, I tried to get the max mood in coop game with a friend. Once reached friendly status, the mood was static and didn´t move to the maximum
- Also I tried to get after uninstall the game from hard disk, but again without success
Finally, after several days I was very lucky and managed to unlock it. This is how I did: first I played intentionally disconnected from EA servers but conected to Xbox Live. Then I decreased the Allied max mood to friendly and I saved the game. Then I loaded this game ang increased a bit the mood by destroying a target buiding for the Allies I saved again the game. After loaded this game, I killed some chinese soldiers, the mood maxed out and finally this glitched achievement popped up
It is impossible to know why this achievement is not unlocked many times. In my case, I think that to obtain it, could influence saving and loading the game after increasing a little the mood with Allies, and playing disconnected from EA servers, but who knows!
