How to unlock the Emotion Control achievement in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots - Definitive Guide

The Emotive Magazines become available for purchase from Drebin’s Store from Act 2 and onwards. These magazines are just like Playboy magazines with the only difference that they feature the Beauty & The Beast Corps. Depending on the Beauty that is on the page, the PMC will have the Beauty’s representative emotion. So they can laugh from Laughing Octopus, rage from Raging Raven, cry from Crying Wolf and scream from Screaming Mantis. Just put down one of these magazines in front of a soldier’s path and when he looks at it, he will keep staring there. Remember that while you are in Alert, the magazines won’t have any effect on the enemies. This also works on Militia, however it doesn't in FROGs. Therefore, you must get this trophy before Act 4 or you will need to get it in a later playthrough.

Buy "Emotion Magazine" from Drebin's store for 2000 DP and place this magazine on the path or near any enemy soldier. As soon as the enemy “bites”, runs up to the magazine and starts yelling/roaring/laughing, the trophy will ring

In Act 5, the Heaven Troopers (cyborgs) did not get the trophy, although they approached the magazine and saluted it)) But it happened on the second playthrough, and on an ALLY)

The magazine does not work on female characters. Frogs are all girls. A similar technique should be used on male characters. Rebels count too.

The trophy must be obtained before the start of Act 4, then all enemies are either robots or frogs.
