How to unlock the You're pretty good. achievement in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots - Definitive Guide

Missable This trophy can be acquired during the third phase of the final battle with Ocelot. When the Snake Eater track starts playing, you will know that you are in the right phase. Ocelot will at some times grab Snake and perform a headlock at him. You will have to move the left analogue stick to escape, however in order to get the trophy, simply do not do anything. Ocelot will kiss Snake and you will get the trophy.

I’ll tell you my method of killing him at Euro Extreme.

Stage 1 - we try to knock him down to the ground with a combination and don’t forget to block. When he is on the ground and is about to get up, you need to start carrying out a combination of blows over him, then he will get up and fall under the last blows, which will knock him down again. If he gets up but manages to place a block, go into the block yourself, and then knock him over again.
Stage 2 - everything is almost the same here, but now he avoids blows more skillfully. It is better to move with a block and under its powerful blow it is more advantageous to crouch. Then there will be a window to hit him with a series of blows and he will fall. Then we return to the old tactics. His second stage is the most difficult.
Stage 3 - we just hit. It was at this stage that, by the way, I received this trophy. He relies mostly on grappling in this, so a good tactic would be to jump up to him with a hit to the liver, and then roll in a series and drop him to the ground. Afterwards you can catch him again in a series as in the first two cases.
Stage 4 - the main thing is to press the blow in time. You can still lose in this game, so after the first hit you need to hit the blow so as not to give Ocelot a chance to hit back. From my own experience, I will say that after the first blow, in 90% of cases he still managed to hit me back once, but this is not critical.

I will give a description of my tactics for killing Ocelot on Extreme.

In the first part of the fight, you need to knock him out once, and then push him back with powerful blows ( + ) to the edge. You need to spam the above blows like this - he gets up, wipes off the blood with his hand, hit him immediately, the blow will land just at the moment he blocks and he will fall again. The first stage - you have 100 or 80% health.

In the second part, you need to be able to keep your distance so that he doesn’t reach you with regular blows and provoke him to attack, as soon as he starts screaming, immediately dodge back + , and immediately forward to it + + , Snake will hit him in the body. Try again immediately, if you miss and Ocelot dodges, retreat and wait again. The problem is that quite often you can hit him in the body twice (and there were 5) and Ocelot falls. Jump forward towards him+ and wait until he gets up and hits again + . This is the strategy for winning the second round, manage to land 3 blows (2 to the body and a powerful one) and achieve victory with such a series.

In the third part everything is easiest. I only used a powerful blow ( + ), it also works against a grappling stance, but sometimes Ocelot intercepts you and throws you to the deck, but the QTE is simple, you won't lose anything. Keep the right distance and hit with precise single strikes.
