How to unlock the Toast! achievement in Metro Redux - Definitive Guide

You can select the chapter Polis and go up to the bar and buy 3 drinks from the bartender and the achievement will pop. You will need 15 military-grade rounds to buy them. There is no need to go to market if you missed the chance.

+1. Can confirm this works; and the cost is 15 MGR for three drinks in total, not per drink, if anyone's wondering. There's two vendors at the start of the Polis level if you need to exchange stuff to cover the cost.

You can also reload the checkpoint afterwards to get your money back.

I was so worried I wouldnt be able to get this one cuz I skipped one of the previous opportunities to drink...plus that other solution came up first when I looked at the achievement using the TA app...phew

There are a total of 2 drinking locations as follows:
- Bar at Market (1 drink)
- Bar at Polis (2 drinks)

After taking al 3 drinks in both of these locations in 1 playthrough, you will unlock the achievement.

There is one drinking occasion in Market near the beginning and two in Polis. Find the little bar, go to the bartender and order a drink. In Polis you have to order two.

I know it's possible in Metro Last Light. Did you get the achievement in Polis? I can't remember if i tested this when the game came out facepalm

The requirements actually appear to just be "drink three drinks anywhere." I got this in Market on my 2nd run through after having had one drink each at Market and Polis on my 1st run through. Only thing I don't know is whether you can get this for drinking 3 drinks at Market the first time. Worth testing out I suppose.

Probably worth pointing out that this is unlocked in Metro 2033 Redux.

Can confirm that this is achievable after completing the story by reloading the relevant chapters. No need to complete the entire chapter; for me it registered as soon as I took the drink and I just quit to main menu and loaded next chapter.

I drank at polis in my playthrough then drank at the market twice after reloading the chapter and it popped

A way of doing it is have a drink at the bar in the market, and the other 2 in Polis. Another option is to have all 3 drinks at Polis if you miss the market.

This trophy requires you to drink at every possible occasion within the game, once at the bar during Market, and twice in Polis. PowerPyx has provided a video guide for this trophy:

You can earn this trophy once you get into ‘Polis’ with Ulman.

While you’re walking to the council chamber, you’ll see a drinking bar.

Have a drink 3 times until the guy serving you falls over and your trophy shall pop.

Para completar a conquista "Toast!", é necessário beber em três ocasiões específicas. A primeira ocorre logo no início do jogo, no Capítulo Market, e as outras duas vezes acontecem no capítulo Polis, quase no final do jogo. Para realizar isso, basta aproximar-se dos bartenders, pagar por uma bebida, aguardar enquanto eles enchem seu copo e, em seguida, beber. Em Market, você só precisa beber uma vez, mas em Polis, é necessário pedir duas bebidas ao mesmo bartender.

For this achievement, there are three distinct occasions where you must pay for a drink at the bars inside the metro station. The first of these occurrences takes place in the “Market” fairly early on in the game. On the other hand, the other two both take place during the “Polis” level which is much later on in the game. Check out the video below for the locations of each occurrence.

NOTE: As confirmed by Nusentinsaino, the bar drink during "Market" is not necessary. This means the achievement is not missable because you can purchase three drinks at the bar during "Polis" and still get this achievement.

You can do it by selecting a chapter. Select the Polis chapter, go to the bar and drink 3 times. That’s how I got the trophy.

You can do it on the Bazaar chapter: go to the Bar, have a drink, load the checkpoint, and so on 3 times.

At the policy level, after talking with the miller, we leave the office and there will be a local bar on the left. We go up to the bartender, drink with him three times achiva yours.
