How to unlock the Postman achievement in Midnight Club: Los Angeles - Definitive Guide

Easy and quick way to get this is to setup an online cruise with a friend and propose a Splitbase Capture the Flag match on Century City Garage.

The flag always spawns in the centre of the car park on one of the levels, you need to be at the same level or above the flag. Driving through the smoke will pick it up even if it's on a lower level. The delivery points are very close and you can jump off the car park at any level through gaps in the walls.

There are two ways to play. Either take it in turns to deliver the flags and you will collect 9 and 10 each in about 8mins. Or one collects 10 flags (takes about 6mins) whilst the other drives around the nearby freeway collecting mileage towards one of the other achievements (5k, wheelie, two wheel).

Repeat the match and delivering 100 flags won't take too long.

Couple of additions:

1) You unlock this achievement during the match.
2) If by any chance you're the only person left in the match, play through it normally. The flags you collect during that match count towards the achievement.

Great guide. You're looking at about 2.5 hours for this achievement if both people are starting from 0. Each game+intermission is 11 minutes, and you'll get a total of 15 caps/match. No idea how OP is getting 19 caps in a game as car speed doesn't really matter in such a small area but we personally were always getting 7/8 each. Took just under 2.5 hours.

*New method*

Player who needs the achievement will need to be host. Set up a player match (2 players) and set the slots to private host 99 flags. Then invite your friend and start up the match. Once you have got one return your buddy can leave the session and play single player. This will keep the match running with one player who is going for the achievement. Once finished switch hosts and repeat.

You both will need one more return due to only getting 99 in one game

Good luck

basically without a shadow of doubt this is the best solution for this achievement, it puts you in control of your own destiny and who ever voted down on it is a melon headed buffoon. I did this ages ago and this was exactly how I did it, finding it out only by chance a friend getting disconnected on me while he was prepared to leave his xbox running.

Definately the best solution. you're not relying on the other person so heavily and takes alot of pressure off. Well done.

Why did you say that the 'Player who needs the achievement will need to be host'. They do not.

Great guide, +1

Also, the best setup is choosing Basewar capture the flag (River rush).

I used the Kawasaki Ninja and getting 100 points took me 30 minutes aprox

Another Easy way to get this achievement is to set up a player match 2 total players all private slots put the flags to 99 and the time limit to 99. If all goes right you should get this achievement after the 1:39:99 you spend on it its faster to do this for one person at a time but if your friend wants to get this achevement too then it will take all most all of the 1 hour and 39 minutes to achieve

Would like to mention, it's significantly faster to have one person get 9 and the other 10 in a match. Me and my boosting buddy tried both ways in ranked (which is what you should be doing to save some time) and it takes twice as long in the long run for one person to get all 10 flags while the other does nothing than both people alternating flags. So definitely go that route.

Servers are offline, so you get an error saying that "You need to be signed into a PLAYSTATION(R) Network account to access online game play features."

Trophy is unobtainable now.

This is a pain because you actually have to deliver the flag. Again, this is made easy (but still tedious) by boosting. Just pick a small map for this one.

Na samom dele, trofej ochenj dazhe logkij, no takzhe ochenj nudnij. Trofei mozhna dostatj za chas. Sozdaite komandnuju igru so flagami, nastroite limitnoe vremja i kolichestvo ochkov na 99. I vse, ishite partnorov. Vrjad li ktota zahochet igratj 99 minut s mesta, i vskoree vi ostanetis odin i nekto bolshe vam nebudet meshatj igratj odnamu, Nu a dalshe nudno 100 raz berete flag i dastajete na bazu.

PS Izvenajus za latinskij shrift.

In fact, the trophy is very easy, but also very tedious. The trophy can be obtained in an hour. Create a team game with flags, set the time limit and the number of points to 99. And that’s it, look for partners. It is unlikely that anyone will want to play for 99 minutes, and most likely you will be left alone and no one will bother you. Well, then you tediously take the flag 100 times and deliver it to the base

You will have to spend a lot of time on this trophy, since in one game you can deliver no more than 5 flags to the base.
The easiest way to get this trophy is in a closed game with a friend, where you first give him 5 flags, then take it for yourself, and so on in a circle until each of you reaches 100.
