The solution posted is not exactly how it works... all you have to do is win 35 races with the same bike, which can be checked in vehicle stats - total wins with that class does not matter. The champ will message you right after the 35th win, only after beating the city champ.

This holds true for all of the other champs as well. I only got the call after beating the city champ once I hit 35 wins with a specific vehicle.


If you are having trouble with this, LuckyConquerer 2 states:

"You need to have 35 wins AFTER you unlock the group 4 vehicles."

The above comments are not entirely accurate. For some reason these achievements (including "In the lap of..." etc.) sometimes won't unlock unless you've completed each match, wager and tournament for each neighbourhood(excluding South Central).

In fact, I got a call from the motorcycle champ just four races (with the motorcycle) after I defeated the city champ.

make sure you've completed each race with each vehicle type to get the call. The race itself is pretty easy in my opinion.

In order to challenge each of the Vehicle Type Champions, you will need to have 35 wins in the said vehicle type after unlocking Group 4 Vehicles at around 16,500-18,000 rep (sometime after reaching Champion Rank). You will also need to become City Champ for these missions to spawn assuming you met the requirements.

You can just repeat Welcome to Hollywood or Sunset and Vine as these races would average around a minute and have an easy track layout. Just repeat it until you reach 35 sport bike wins (after unlocking group 4 vehicles) and receive the call (assuming you are already City Champ).

Since sport bikes are commonly used in the late part of the game due to how overpowered the group 4 sport bikes are (assuming you can handle them properly with minimal to no crashes), you may already receive the call right after becoming city champ.

You can also do Freeway Races, Red Light Races, Wager Races, Tournaments, Series Races or Goal Attack races to farm the required wins.

The motorcycle champ is Oswaldo, who rides a blue Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14, and you will face him in a one-on-one duel in a random track in the Hills, The Ninja is one of the fastest bikes in the game, so use that or the Ducati 1098R when going up against him.
