How to unlock the What's a Speed Limit? achievement in Midnight Club: Los Angeles - Definitive Guide
Freeway races show up as a little shield. I reccomend you go for any green, yellow or orange races as they are not particularly hard. Also, you could use a motorbike as they are smaller and faster and you will get progress to the 'Winning with Less' achievement.

Well, the bikes' lighter weight just means you can easily fall off when hitting traffic and it takes much longer to reset after a crash.
You can use specific car types after unlocking group 4 cars while doing this achievement to pick up wins required to unlock the vehicle type champions.

this is simple, just win 15 races on the freeway. the important part is getting a lead early on. you can beat a lambo in a class D car as long as you get him to crash into a car right as you are going by and flashing your headlights. dont try zooming past or he wont see the headlight flash. if he starts to catch up, bust out the roar or EMP and it will set him back a little bit more. stick to the barriers on either side and you will win it easily.
This shouldn't take more than half an hour for the 15 wins, even the medium and hard difficulty ones are quite easy if you have a good car and don't crash..too much, also the races very short as ou normally go to the otherside of the highway in most races so you can use this method for the race finishes aswell. Good luck.
I think by far the easiest way to get this is to use the Ninja with agro.
Make sure you have at least 1 shot of it ready. Come up behind the car, flash your lights, hit agro to crash his car and that will give you a great lead. You should be able to win easily and it should charge up at least 1 more agro for you..
At the end, slow down so your opponent is close when you win. Then let him pass, and race him again.
You should be finished very quickly.
This is also a great way to make quick, easy money.

In my opinion, these are the easies races to win. Just repeat the strategy outlined in Streaker.
Freeway Races are marked with a Shield, and the color behind the shield (green, yellow, orange, red) denotes the difficulty of the race. These races don't take much time and aren't that hard, provided you use a good car and not hit that much of traffic. Also, you could wait until Group 4 vehicles are unlocked so you can begin grinding wins with a specific car class to unlock their vehicle type's Champion that can be challenged after becoming City Champion.
The freeway races are the shield icons on the map - to make this a bit easier, you can focus on the green and yellow races as they will be easier. Once you have completed 15, the trophy will pop.

Go to any highway and look for cars with race icons on them, flash their headlights using a triangle to start the race. Please note that in this type of racing the police will be chasing you.
