When your on the red side of a hacked portal game, you have to kill any non-computer person for this the count. Killing their mind slaves does nothing for this.
To speed things along, if you are against only one person, kill the host but don't kill the computer partner. Eventually the AI will heal them so you can shoot them down again.

agree with this. You get a bunch of XP from killing the player, so it works you towards GURU as well. Typically, if you only kill the player and let the NPC heal them they wont boot you. If you kill Jim and Wiess and get a "win" you usually get booted.
